Terrible app. Quirky behaviour like starting up hours after I have stopped listening or stopping after 20 minutes. TuneIn Radio is a much better app but recently, my favorite radio station is available either over the air or in I Heart Radio. Very frustrating.

Great app. Just annoying when it droppes audio. Happenes maybe every 20 min. But all you have to do is unlock your phone and go back into the app. Would be nice to see the problem fixed

It wastes my time by picking pictures, just let me search artists it stations, delay when you select items. You need to simplify

This app is awful. Constantly drops audio and forces you to watch a video add every time you get dropped. I love listening to TSN radio ... but I'm gonna switch soon if they don't fix these issues.

Doesn't always load up the first time. It's says there was and error the a minute or less later it loads the desired station. Otherwise great stations for tunes and whatever your in the mood for.

Radio play stops every few minutes and forces you have to watch a video ad to refresh. And you have to watch a video, despite this being a Radio streaming service. Radio starts playing randomly hours later when I connect to Wi-Fi, even after I've closed the app. As much as I love my morning radio routine with Ace Burpee, I'm finding a new station I can actually stream.

Frequently drops audio, forcing a restart. Restarting triggers an advertisement that takes control away from your device and makes you watch a video (on an audio platform!). I contacted support about this months ago. Ads are fine but hijacking my device is not; at least play an audio ad and let me use my device. I will be looking for another app to tune into local news. Overall, the design is nice. Tap targets could be larger and the play/ stop button should be on the lower left to make one hand use easier. Lock screen integration is appreciated.

Great marketing model. Buy radio stations. Lock TuneInRadio out of broadcasting content. Fastest growing app. -1. Play has to be pressed to start. -1. Dark icon in notification bar may look good when app runs, but does not work on phones with dark layouts. -1. Shame on the marketing nob, but more on the tools, who wrote the app. If you are going to force people to use your app, make sure it has the functionality of the app it is trying to replace.

I use this to listen exclusively to 1290am in Winnipeg, the audio quality is fantastic. My complaints pertain to the ads. 30 second ads seem long to me in 2017. It also is often the case (70+%) that after the ad is done playing my device does not play the radio stream but instead just sits there in silence. Shorter ads and fix it so that it always properly plays my stream after and I'll be a happy user.

Constantly drops audio, and then I get to listen to an ad (that's allows me to do nothing else with my phone???), so I can listen to a radio station full of ads. WTF is the point of that? Pretty disappointing I'll use it because the selection of radio channels is pretty good. Go figure Bell media would sell every opportunity they have, I wouldn't be suprised to see ads tattooed on their forheads eventually. Ads ads ads ads ads ads ads it's everywhere.

The app keeps popping up notifications about radio programs. There should be a way to disable this for those that find it annoying. I listen to programs when I want to. I don't need repeated notifications about programs I am not interested in. Developers emsil address for this app is bogus. Audio stream often just stops after several minutes. Seems to be better with bluetooth headset than wired earbuds, but occasionaly both are bad. Other times streams fine. Very hit or miss. Seems to be related to streaming source or app.

Stops very frequently, have to restart app and watch another 30 second ad for music to come back. Only to have it die off withing 10 seconds and have to start over. App starts on its own quite often as well. Not well made at all. I would not recommend this at all.

Absolute garbage. More dead air time than actual streaming, and that's with four of four reception bars! Somehow it still manages to use more data than TuneIn. What ever happened to customer service? I want my stations back on TuneIn.

Worst. App. Ever!!!! This is so buggy. It CONSTANTLY shuts off and freezes. I specifically used another app because of the much better quality. I have been forced to use this app because the station I listen to is no longer offered on the other app. Too many ads....just way too unreliable.

One word - JUNK! Sensitive with annoying features app. Less than perfect connection lead to stream loss. And once start playing again it plays an annoying ad. Burn thru more data then iTunes, for example. Hate it... but forced to use for our local CJAD station...

Glitchy streaming that often cuts out. Can be annoying to find the station I want using a search phrase that works online but not on the app. The last few mornings I've woken up to find this app running in my notification tray, no music playing but my data is being consumed. I'm now uninstalling.

Way too many ads!! Eveytime i click on a station the phone shouldn't lock up forcing me to watch an ad. At least the bell media app was better it didnt do this. No wonder they changed it to force more ads on people. This app will play for 20min then stop playing and disappear from my main Page drop down menu. Then magically start to work again by itself hours later. It likes to come back on and resume playing in the middle of the night. I re-downloaded the bell media app and deleted this one.

A real step down from Tune In radio. I only use this app because the stations are exclusive to iHeartRadio (other than internet). No adjustment for poor streaming rates etc. Long way to go before this is acceptable. I will listen to these stations less now that they are not on Tune In which is of much better quality, does not always run in the background and dues not intrusiveness send notifications.

Bell has removed it's stations from TuneIn radio to monopolize the end-to-end of delivering it's content with this app. However, I was told by support that iHeartRadio is not supported on Sonos in Canada. For forcing me to use your app while not providing as much functionality as what was previously available, you get a THUMBS DOWN!

Please fix the issue with Android Auto. Everytime that I start Android auto and want to play this app to listen to the radio it doesn't work. I have to close Android auto, close this app, reopen this app then watch the 15 sex video and then the radio app works. Then reopen Android auto and then I can listen to the channel. So everytime I turnoff my car for example to go at the corner store and leave again with my car, I have to do the same thing all over again.

Glitchy, and no cast ability. Way behind the actual iHeartRadio app/American version. If it had the features of the other app it would be 4 stars and I would use it. Until then tune in radio app is still a better choice.

Crashes frequently - able to listen for maybe 5 minutes at a time. Lengthy ad (30 seconds) at start up that doesn't allow use of the phone. If app has crashed, it will restart at random a few hours later. App used to work perfectly so whatever improvements were done in the last couple months have not been successful.

This app plays ads on top of radio ads. Unacceptable. Shame on you bell media. Bunch of greedy f... not like we didn't know that already . Another shitty product from a prehistoric age company using sub-excremental business practices.

Same problem as everyone else. Audio drops after a minute or so, but app shows it is still playing.. probably draining more data. In order to get audio back, you need to watch another 30 second video. What a complete joke. The worst part is, local iheart stations are now blocked on much better apps like TuneIn. Luckily, some syndicated shows are on unblocked TuneIn stations. Bottom line, I heart radio is a complete joke of an app. I wish I could give it zero stars

Ads are annoying and account needed for favorites. Why do you play ads if you are already in the program I am listening to. Fix that and get 5 stars Amendment:1star 7 days and 452MB of data used without listening to it more than 10 to 12 hours all together. Uninstalled it Amendment 2: Tried it out of desperation for radio and found that it turned itself on 3 times sucking data. Uninstalled for good. Audio drops but I could have lived with that.

5/5 - I am VERY satisfied! I felt sketchy about using this, anything that says free makes me immediately think of a subscription and when there is one I never feel like I'm having the full experience, I looked everywhere for a "Subscribe Now!" menu and I couldn't find one, this service is truly free.. It had exactly what I wanted and the name of the app says it all, I❤Radio! You have Chum FM and all of the good stations, what else can I ask for?? This app is perfect, and.. thank you for bringing this to Canada! You made a Canadian very happy today, I don't see a single thing that could be improved on! You surprised me with the Text/Call/etc. area at the Now Playing screen! That was very thoughtful since radio stations have those 'call or text' sessions, these 5 Stars aren't to be generous..!! This app blew me away, I am 100% satisfied and I will continue to use this app for radio streaming, thank you.. iHeartRadio

Was good initially but then started to drop every 5 to 10 minutes and force you to watch another ad this past month. Stopped using the app at work now because it's annoying to take off my gloves to wait 30 seconds for the ad to restart it; effectively useless app and uninstalling after this review!

It loses the signal very often. I used to listen to my favorite station on TUNEIN RADIO and that was a really good app. Now my station is unavailable on that app so I am forced to use this app. Very unhappy with it so far @@@ UPDATE@@@ I can catch my station on TuneIn again so I am happy to return to listening to a nice working app

Garbage app. Downloaded in the hopes of listening to the Jays game on TSN 1290 while mowing the lawn. Won't load the station, I get "Sorry this station is only available from Canada." I'm in Winnipeg... broken app. Don't waste your time.

It just asked me a bunch of questions that I couldn't answer before I could leave this review. I use this app to listen to the radio on my phone. I have no clue what that c%#p was and I don't care. I like the variety of stations and that is what is important to me!

Piece of garbage. Tunein Radio was great compared to this massacre. Drops my station (now taken over from Tunein) numerous times. Then when I try to reconnect gives me another stupid @$$ commercial. Just total junk but when you start monopolizing the market (through Bell) the consumer suffers. Utter trash.

I like it. I would give it a 5, if I could listen to local Radio (TSN 1290 Winnipeg) broadcast the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball. The app currently gives an error stating it's only available in Canada. Also I would love it, if you could cast the app. I would love to play it on my Google Home.

It's a very big app, and can't work on my iPhone 4. Too bad, as they're limiting their audience with another Bell overly large and complicated web site.

keeps stopping. very annoying when in have it on all day while working and having to sit through another ad. if I could I would give a negative. unbearable to listen to. was way better when I could just click on station web site and listen directly.

I'm forced to use this app to listen to my local radio now. It's OK but it just opens on its own in the background multiple times a day. Even when phone is idle. Very annoying! No way to disable that? Android 8.0

I had to dump it. It autostarts and can't always be forced to stop. Chews up the battery. Also, there is no widget. Very poorly done. I gave it two stars because it brings in the channels.

Sometimes it stops playing the music in the middle of the song. And when a song is playing i cheack my radio to see if the same song is playing it is not. And last there is not all the radio stations I like for example the radio station 102.1 The Edge is not on it. If you could fix some of these issues in the app it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Drops ALL the time. I hate that I have to use this app to listen to my favourite radio station, but I can't access it through my browser anymore. Doesn't automatically stop (like every other music app ever) when I unplug, but starts blaring through my phone speaker and I have to unlock my phone to stop it. Worst app ever. Hate it so much.

Good app with lots of choice. Only complaint is that the music cuts out once and a while. Normally I can just stop and start the song again but sometimes that causes a new commercial. But as this app is free not really a big deal.
