CTV News GO

It's very difficult to use this app at times. It disappears if my screen goes off and that can be frustrating if I'm trying to read an article because upon reopening the article is nowhere to be found about 75% of the time. There is also a very annoying bug where going back does not take you to the main page, but just leads you to a random, and usually older, article that is no longer relevant. Please look into these bugs, at the very least, and I will give this app 5 stars without hesitation.

Awesome you can watch all news shows after an hourish... Notifications though are far too excessive.. should prompt for notification choice upon first load.. I use android app settings to block them

So, it's not a bad app, but it doesn't work with Chrome Cast. So I can't watch on my tv while working out. And since the website won't allow you to watch live news in a mobile browser (you have to get this app) I can't cast from there either. Big miss on the part of the app developers to leave out this feature, and poor coordination with the web designers.

Love this app for the layout, the great stories, etc. but hate that it crashes so often. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling this morning but it still crashed and will not open. Ctv Newsgo has stopped unexpectedly.....

I'm mainly very disappointed by the fake news CTV spread about Patrick Brown. Completely dishonest reporting, this network should be ashamed of themselves.

Love this app, especially the ability to swipe to the next story or go directly on the left pane. Love the preview in the left pane. Like the ability to go to other sections from main page, but would like to see top stories continuing through other sections without having to go back to 1st page and select tab. This is so much better than seeing a few boxes and constantly scrolling to see breadth of stories.

App doesn't stream videos if you are connected to both WiFi and Mobile data, if the preference to use WiFi only for streaming. WTH !!!!! BIG BUG

All the GO apps are garbage. They might be ok if you live in a city and have things like optik or cable. But if you have satellite, you cannot use them.

App keeps encountering network connection problems and will show a blank screen instead stories on my pixel. Needs to be fixed.

The app is so slow to load. Not useable half the time because it won't load the news even on a good connection.

Requires completely unnecessary permissions to view your identity and phone activity such as search/browsing history.

Opens now on S8 but still crashes. Some articles won't open. Some will. Horrible

I don't like CTV News any more than other purveyors of media journalism. What I do like is their easy-to-use menu options. Very simple and easy to use.

Fixed. Crashes on Lenovo 10 tablet. OK on Moto G5. OK on old Nexus 10.

Hardly ever works when you want it to. Whenever it doesn't, I switch to the CBC News app. It always works.

It works very well, and the videos are nothing short of dazzling. My only suggestion is to make content available offline, but this is otherwise a very good app.

It's OK to be a leftist agency, All opinions, left or right should be presented for public debate. That's healthy. Presenting stories subjectively but with veiled opinion is unethical and subversive.

Love the layout but app crashes far too often making it unreliable. Real-time news slow to post, especially on weekends.

Won't open on Oreo Android 8.0 OS. Stops at first page. Please fix. Using Google Pixel XL.

No support for streaming, yet the ctv go app has this feature... Disappointing.
