Bucknell University for Android
Today's update is what the bucknell app should have been all along. It follows most of the android design guidelines, its responsive and fast, and doesn't require you to open the webpage for most actions like the previous one did, and when it does it opens the webpage in the app.
I can't see my classes
I was so excited that Bucknell finally had an android app. However, I was disappointed to see that its effectively an interface to their mobile website. In addition, it doesn't even work as well as their mobile website because 90% of all menu options open in the web browser anyway (For example, to view your schedule it opens the mobile web page, asks you to log in, then shows the mobile schedule in your browser). It would be easier just to create a widget/bookmark in the launcher for the mobile site.
You're in Google Play!
This isn't an app as much as it is just the mobile website. This could be great and wildly convenient, especially if it followed android design guideline standards. You can't just make an iPhone app and then port it to android, you have to develop for android just the same as you would iOS.
