Home screen WIDGET (NOT AN APPLICATION) that provides basic control over the Yamaha Z7, 3900, 2065 & V867 receivers. Should also work with the newer V-1067, 2067, 3067, RX-A1000, RX-A2000, RX-A3000 RX-V671 and HTR-6295.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a WIDGET and must be placed onto the home screen. There is no application with this!
Controls power, volume, inputs and sound field selection for each individual zone. Configurable maximum zone loudness settings. Ability to turn off unused sound fields and inputs for faster access.
Sound field selection is not supported with the 2065/6295 receiver.

It does exactly what it says it will do. Mute would be a great addition. V671 running on a Desire HD.

When inputting ip address don't erase the periods that are provided or it wont work. Power on and off work on a1000. Would be nice to select radio

Works the volume well enough and you can choose between sources as well. You can also turn the power OFF but not ON. Pretty annoying, but its free...

Cannot get this app to work with the Yamaha rx-v671 once I put in the ip address it does absolutely nothing to recognize what receiver I am using.

I've spent about 15 minutes trying to sort this out but have been unsuccessful. Considering that Yamaha's AV Controller configures automatically, I'm not prepared spend anymore time figuring this out.

Great app, works within confines of Yamaha web portal. Unfortunately, volume slider control is unreliable on my LG Optimus.

App will not find yamaha 867 on the droid x. Iphone app on iphone 4 works flawlessly.

Because of this widget I have turned every one of my android devices into reciever remote and retried my yamaha remote. Setup requires some basic understanding of networking and the functions of your AV reciever.

Missing a lot of input sources (Pandora, Rhapsody, Napster, etc). If you use PC as a source you cannot browse for the files/folders you want to play.

I have an Aventage RX-A1010 and unfortunately this widget doesn't recognize it. The official Yamaha AV control app does but this widget has sooooo many more features....i wish it did work with my receiver :-( Rooted Thunderbolt running BAMF
