I like the app, but I do think it can develop more. For example having an overall readers count, being able to share stories with other, and although yes it's for short stories, I believe Short stories can have more than one chapter, so allowing a story to have parts would be cool :)

It simple and clean as far as apps go. I Do think it needs to breakdown its categories into expanded genres...SciFi, Fantasy, etc ...

Refreshing New writing app. I like the idea on long form covers for stories. It's different. Looking for more options to change settings and a night reading mode. Also, add a way to filter through stories.

If you're looking for honest, constructive critique from other reasonably able writers, look elsewhere. If you are looking for silly comments on your pointless drivel, download at once. Of course, this says less about the app than the community attracted to it. Perhaps the developers would be better off charging a small fee and putting more thought into attracting writers with talent.

At first I wasn't sure how to feel about "ANOTHER" writers app in the app store, but shorti is really cool. I actually fell in love with it after the first 2 days. I love that I can see the views but there are no likes. I like the separation of genre and the notifications I get when someone bookmark or follows me. Seem pretty cool, I hope it gets some new updates soon.
