The dictionary accepts all grammatical forms of English words, displays transcription, orthographic variants, part of speech, and accent.
This dictionary will allow you to find the word you’re looking for even if you don’t know how to spell it in English. To do this, enter ‘phonetic search’ mode and start typing in the approximate sound of the word in Russian letters.
For example, key-in: “ПИПЛ” and get “PEOPLE”; “СКАЙ” and get “SKY”!
The translations of English words given by this dictionary correspond to the meanings that native English speaking people associate with them. For example,
“PANOPLY” - "ШИРОКОЕ РАЗНООБРАЗИЕ",
"JAUNDICE" - "ЖЕЛТУХА" (illness),
"DOUCHE" - "СПРИНЦОВКА".
You might be surprised, but many existing dictionaries translate these words incorrectly: "PANOPLY" as "ДОСПЕХИ", "JAUNDICE" as "ЖЕЛЧНОСТЬ" and "DOUCHE" as "ДУШ".
You can look up word combinations. For example, we enter:
“GIVE IN”, and get “УСТУПАТЬ”,
"GIVE UP", and get "БРОСАТЬ",
"LOOK FOR", and get "ИСКАТЬ"
Or; we enter Russian words:
"ПРОЙТИ КАК", and get "КАК ПРОЙТИ ДО..?" and then get the translation “HOW CAN I GET TO ..?”
Key word search makes translation much easier. For example, you need to translate: “TO COCK A SNOOK AT” We enter: “snook cock” or ‘cock snook” and the dictionary find the phrase and give you its translation: "ВЫРАЗИТЬ ПРЕЗРЕНИЕ К".
For comparison ☺, here are online translations:

On my Samsung J2 your dictionary always cannot start properly, in fact after first start, it keeps waiting showing black screen, and I forced to start it again. Dear developpers, I ask you to realease some update to your app soon. You definitely need to improve app's perfomance. On my Samsung J2 your dictionary always cannot start properly, in fact after first start, it keeps waiting showing black screen, and I forced to start it again. So, please, work on programming part of this app. Thank you
