****This application is designed to be used with a MODIFIED RC car. You have to replace the car's stock control circuit with a micro controller. This involves programming. The application will not work with a brand new, out of the box RC car. Please visit the website before you download the application.
The application allows you to control an Arduino based RC car over Bluetooth. This is done using a Bluetooth enabled Android phone. Visit this site https://sites.google.com/site/bluetoothrccar/ for the Arduino code and control circuit. The app lets you control the car with either buttons or the phone's accelerometer. A slider bar allows you to control your car's velocity if the car's control circuit has this feature. There are also two buttons for front and back lights. A flashing light lets you know when the phone is connected to the car, and arrows light up letting you know the car's driving direction.

This app could not be simpler to use. Many of the tutorials you'll find online for building a basic bluetooth controlled robot utilize this app, and for good reason. It had every built in function you could want for your first project.

Excellent application to control an RC car. My 10 year old son quickly learnt how to get the app working with the arduino powered car he built by himself. Thanks for making it available.

The interface is really simple and effective...everything is good in this app. But if the user could have an option of changing what a button sends, that could be very helpful.

Very good app but when the setting on change/touch is selected after I scroll the speed bar it doesent send the stop comand or forward comand (or any command for that matter) if it was pressed before scrolling and mantained pressed, other than that its perfect

I had to go through many different controller apps before I finally found one that does what I need it to do. This app works perfectly on my Samsung S4. I looks great and has many buttons that I can assign different tasks to according to my arduino code; not just for cars.
