Átila Brandão, na época, não era convertido ao Evangelho, então, a sua esposa, a Pediatra Mailde Brandão celebrava o culto doméstico todas as quartas-feiras, junto com os filhos e os empregados da casa orando e jejuando para que o Senhor trouxesse Átila Brandão para o Evangelho.
