Praças WiFi Livre SP

O projeto WIFI LIVRE SP, desenvolvido pela Prefeitura de São Paulo, é pioneiro e inovador em grandes cidades no Brasil. Prevê a instalação de acesso gratuito à internet por sistema Wi-Fi em 120 praças ou localidades públicas no município, atendendo todos os 96 distritos da Capital.

O acesso será irrestrito e gratuito a qualquer cidadão, que poderá fazer uso da rede por meio de notebooks, tablets, smartphones ou qualquer outro dispositivo. O projeto tem a coordenação da Secretaria Municipal de Serviços com apoio técnico da PRODAM - Empresa de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação do Município de São Paulo - e atende à meta 73 do Plano de Metas da Prefeitura de São Paulo (eixo temático 1 - Compromisso com os direitos sociais e civis). The project WIFI FREE SP, developed by the City of São Paulo, is a pioneer and innovator in large cities in Brazil. It foresees the installation of free Internet access via Wi-Fi system in 120 squares and public places in the city, serving all 96 districts of the Capital.

Access is unrestricted and free to any citizen who can make use of the network via laptops, tablets, smartphones or any other device. The project is coordinated by the Municipal Services with technical support from PRODAM - Information Technology and Communications Company of São Paulo - and meets the goal of the Plan 73 Goals of the São Paulo City Hall (thematic axis 1 - Commitment social and civil rights).
