Sociedade PR de Cardiologia

Fundada em primeiro de setembro de setembro de 1966, a Sociedade Paranaense de Cardiologia (SPC) é composta por cerca de 690 sócios.

A Cardiologia paranaense sempre foi muito atuante nos eventos nacionais da Sociedade Brasileira de Cardiologia (SBC) e manteve-se na vanguarda com a evolução científica e tecnológica da Especialidade. Entre seus representantes mais ilustres convém destacar Dr. Gastão Pereira da Cunha (in memoriam), um os fundadores da Sociedade e representante da SBC no Estado durante muitos anos que teve atuação marcante nos colegiados e eventos científicos da SBC; Hélio Germiniani, autor do livro sobre Eletrocardiografia e Arritmias, apresentou grande participação, sobretudo no setor de Arritmias; Costantino Costantini, uma das maiores experiências nacionais em angioplastias; Iseu Affonso da Costa (in memoriam), autor do livro sobre a História da Cirurgia Cardíaca no Paraná; Paulo Roberto Brofman, Paulo Franco de Oliveira, ex-coordenador do Mestrado da Universidade Federal do Paraná; e Mário Maranhão que, além de Presidente da SBC, foi também Presidente da Sociedade Interamericana de Cardiologia.O vice-presidente da SBC (2012-2013) é o cardiologista curitibano Daltom Bertolim Précoma.

A Sociedade Paranaense de Cardiologia centraliza, há 45 anos, os esforços dos cardiologistas paranaenses e interage com a sociedade civil e os poderes constituídos numa busca da otimização dos esforços para redução do impacto das doenças cardiovasculares em nossa sociedade.Sua sede é em Curitiba, mas sua diretoria representa lideranças de todo o estado.Entre seus programas, anualmente é realizado um Congresso Médico para atualização sobre o tema. Neste eventos são discutidos e transmitidos os avanços da ciência e são geradas propostas para as políticas de implantação da melhor prática médica. A sociedade vem sendo o foro natural de contato entre demandas sociais referentes a cardiologia e a comunidade profissional afeita ao tema. Among its most illustrious representatives should be emphasized Dr. Gaston Pereira da Cunha (in memoriam), one the founders of the Society and representative of the SBC in the state for many years had remarkable performance in the collegiate and scientific events in the SBC; Helium Germiniani, author of the book on Electrocardiography and Arrhythmias, showed great interest, especially in the sector of arrhythmias; Costantino Costantini, a leading national experiences angioplasties; Iseu Affonso da Costa (in memoriam), author of the book on the History of Cardiac Surgery in Paraná; Paulo Roberto Brofman, Paul Franco de Oliveira, former coordinator of the Master of the Federal University of Paraná; Mario Maranhão and that, besides President of SBC, was also President of the Inter American Cardiologia.O vice president of the SBC (2012-2013) is the curitibano cardiologist Daltom Bertolim Précoma.

Paranaense Society of Cardiology centralizes 45 years ago, the efforts of Paraná cardiologists and interacts with civil society and the powers that be in search optimization efforts to reduce the impact of cardiovascular disease in our sociedade.Sua headquarters in Curitiba, but its board represents leaders from around the estado.Entre their programs annually is an accomplished Medical Congress for updates on this topic.
