O que é a estatura-alvo ou altura-alvo? Como é calculada?

Esse é um critério para se avaliar se o crescimento no qual a criança está crescendo, é ou não o esperado para aquela criança, com base na altura de seus pais.

Estime a altura de seu filho com o Altura Alvo, informe o sexo da criança, a altura do pai e a altura da mãe e receba a altura aproximada que seu filho terá.

O resultado desse cálculo indica o canal de crescimento da família. Considera-se normal uma variação de ± 5 cm. Por exemplo: se uma menina tem uma mãe com altura de 160 cm e um pai com altura de 173 cm, a altura-alvo estimada para ela será de 160 cm, com uma variação entre 155-165 cm.
