também é considerado o celeiro do mundo pela rica produção de grãos. Assim, pela riqueza do seu agronegócio, é visto como uma terra de grandes oportunidades.

A atividade pecuária ganhou impulso entre os anos de 1988 e 1990, quando o Mato Grosso vivenciou o 'boom' dos leilões. Percebendo o futuro promissor desse ramo, a Estância Bahia, liderada por Mauricio Tonha e com o apoio de sua equipe, iniciou a atividade leiloeira em Água Boa no ano de 1991. Nascia então o Grupo Estância Bahia.

Acreditando no potencial agropecuário do Estado, o Grupo Estância Bahia inaugurou sua filial em Cuiabá, com centro de eventos e moderna estrutura para leilões.
