Caminhos do Conhecimento

Esse aplicativo é parte do projeto que transforma os campi da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) em um grande museu a céu aberto multiplataforma.

A ideia por trás do projeto, além de divulgar amplamente o conhecimento aos mais diferentes públicos, é levar o visitante até o local onde a Ciência é produzida, ampliando assim inclusive a relação entre a Universidade e a Sociedade.

Ao iniciar sua experiência interativa, o visitante tem acesso a trilhas com diferentes pontos de interesse, relacionados às diferentes áreas do conhecimento existentes na Universidade. O projeto também pode ser acesso em www.caminhos.ufscar.br.
“Caminhos do Conhecimento” é um projeto desenvolvido pelo Laboratório Aberto de Interatividade para a Disseminação do Conhecimento Científico e Tecnológico (www.labi.ufscar.br), com financiamento do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento e Tecnológico (CNPq).

QR Code
Os pontos de interesse trazem sinais de QR Code com conteúdos interativos. Durante a caminhada pela trilha, os visitantes utilizam as câmeras de seus dispositivos móveis (tablets e celulares), apontando para os QR Codes para destravar e ter acesso aos conteúdos.

Realidade Aumentada
O visitante também pode visitar a UFSCar e conhecer os conteúdos com sua câmera utilizando a tecnologia de Realidade Aumentada. O funcionamento continua sendo simples e intuitivo: no aplicativo, após escolher o item “realidade aumentada”, o visitante aponta a câmera para diferentes direções enquanto observa o conteúdo informativo aparecendo na tela do aparelho. As informações estão situadas em diferentes regiões da Instituição. O resultado observado é uma mistura do espaço real que ele está presenciando ao fundo com uma camada virtual de informações que são adicionadas a essa espacialidade.


Para uma melhor experiência, recomendamos verificar:

- Se o serviço de localização está habilitado;
- Se a opção “utilizar rede sem fio” está habilitada;

Atenção! Para o devido funcionamento da Realidade Aumentada, o dispositivo deve ter acelerômetro, bússola e GPS.

The idea behind the project in addition to widely disseminate knowledge to many different audiences, is to take the visitor to the place where science is produced, thus expanding even the relationship between the University and the Society.

When you start your interactive experience, visitors have access to tracks with different points of interest, related to different areas of knowledge existing at the University. The project can also be access www.caminhos.ufscar.br.
"Paths of Knowledge" is a project developed by Open Interaction Laboratory for Dissemination of Scientific and Technological Knowledge (www.labi.ufscar.br), with funding from the National Development and Technological Council (CNPq).

QR Code
Other points of interest bring QR Code signals with interactive content. While walking the trail, visitors use the cameras from their mobile devices (tablets and mobile phones), pointing to the QR Codes to unlock and access the content.

Augmented Reality
Visitors can also visit the UFSCar and know the contents with your camera using Augmented Reality technology. The operation remains simple and intuitive: the application, after choosing the item "augmented reality", the visitor point the camera in different directions while watching the informational content appearing on their screens. Information is located in different areas of the institution. The observed result is a mixture of real space it is witnessing the background with a virtual layer of information that is added to this spatiality.

- If "use wireless network" is enabled;

Heads Up! For the proper functioning of Augmented Reality, the device must have accelerometer, compass and GPS.
