Somos a segunda geração informativa do Jornal da Cidade. Uma nova geração que se propõe a continuar escrevendo a história de Carangola, com novos planos, novos sonhos e uma grande esperança de viver o novo. Fotografando e registrando de diferentes e ousadas maneiras.

Trazemos a herança da seriedade de um trabalho jornalístico, imbuído do mesmo espírito de verdade e paixão que sempre deram ao Jornal da Cidade sua marca maior, a credibilidade.

Somos carangolenses dispostos a dar seqüência ao relato de fatos e acontecimentos da “nossa terra”, sem perder de vista o que Carangola sempre teve e ainda tem em relação a tantas outras cidades vizinhas da região, e que, a faz tão especial para seus filhos e seus visitantes.

Participam do projeto, a estudante de jornalismo, Jana Lourenço Coimbra, que tem ao seu lado, as professores carangolenses Hélen Queiroz, Elaine Azevedo e Ludimila Beviláqua como saudáveis e profissionais olheiros de todos os detalhes que perfazem a rotina de vida da cidade, de seus moradores e tudo mais que possa haver “de novo no front” – como tão bem fazem os intelectuais.

Participa também, com o seu notável talento de colunista social, o empresário carangolense Murilo Pereira, retratando em caracteres que alcançam muito além do supérfluo, a sociedade de Carangola, que sabe como ninguém a arte de bem receber, acolher e festejar.

Vez ou outra estará também a jornalista Jandira Machado Lourenço.

Mas o fato de você, carangolense, ser o nosso foco, não o impede de interagir e “embarcar nessa viagem”, na tentativa de re-definir e re-colorir o brilho “desta Estrela” que chamamos Carangola .
