Touch 15i sci RPN calculator for Android
Has the most readable graphics, and looks good. Works well, love having the great 15C calculator with me at all times. (I own one since 1982.) Can't beat the price too.
Quality of graphics is impressive. First thing I noticed: On my real hp15c I used to press f-SOLVE-f-A. This does not work here, I have to press f-SOLVE-sqrt(x) instead. Same for INTEGRAL. Minor incompatibility, still easily 5stars. Speed is about 1000times the original, which is greatly appreciated. Could you pease implement copy-pasting of numbers by pressing on the display? This would increase ease of use. Anyway, thank you very much!
Better than the original given what appears to be an unlimited number of digits of pie. Bigger graphics than other versions, so easier to read, if a bit toon like.
An update just to change the name of the app?
Very nice thank you again
Very nice job.
From five stars to one star. Get rid of it ASAP !!! Update: Back to FIVE stars after removing the obnoxious splash screen.
A small improvement would be, if press-and-hold-fPREFIX, then keep displaying all digits while button is held down, like the real 15C [edit: holy crap, updated and now it's perfect]. This app is the one I recommend for a reasonable price.
Elvis has put together a nice clone of the original, and he releases updates as needed. For me, startup always takes a couple of seconds, FYI, but no star deductions just for that. You'll be happy with the app.
Except for perhaps the superb yet pricey HP app, this is about the best emulation or simulation of the 15c I have tried. It looks good, it works, it is faster and works with higher internal precision so programs run better, and it has the excellent feature of storing and retrieving the calculator state so program memory can be preserved. The free version is an eyesore with the ill-positioned display and ads. Serious fans of the 15c will not regret parting with a few bucks for this one.
I've tried loads of scientific calculators. Either the key responses are poor or the graphics deficient or a really awkward method of accessing trig functions.. Not this calculator; it just works !!!!
Awesome 15c emulation, like all of Elvis' Voyager series implementations (please check my other reviews). Note that if you can't find the menu button, you can still access the app menu by touching the numeric display (noticed this on Lollipop, YMMV). This lets you access special functions to adjust the display, calculator speed, saving and loading program memory, etc.
Love the app, HATE the new icon.

The most accurate 15C emulation for Android. Perfect graphics and functionality. Well done dev, thank you for making this available for us all !
As of version 2, the program crashes on startup with an "out of memory" error on my Xperia X10i (the last working version was 1.5). I'm hoping this will be fixed soon.
mismatched keyboard codes
I only just tried this out, on a Samsung tablet running Android 4.2.2. I have an original HP 15c and was comparing it to this app. I enter radians mode (fn.g-RAD), then enter pi (fn.g-pi) symbol, then hit SIN. The original calculator says -4.100 E-10 but the app says 0.000 E 00 which is technically the correct answer, although different from the slightly-inaccurate HP15c. On my Samsung Galaxy Ace (smaller screen) the blue and yellow function text on each key is slightly hard to read (looks like a larger bitmap downscaled without antialiasing, so some pixels are omitted). If I had a choice I would make the keyboard background darker for higher contrast. My real 15c has a darker background keyboard / case color (more black than grey). ...also, thank you for not requiring network access permissions, as some competing 15c apps do.
I like the layout of the Andro15C very much but I would recommend a future release incorporate the Romberg integration method (or even Gaussian Quadrature) instead of Adaptive Simpson's. The very first integral I tried to solve was unsuccessful. It will not solve Vardi's integral: ln(ln(tan(x))) dx from pi/4 to pi/2. Jeff K

Elvis has put together a totally sweet clone of the original and he releases updated builds, too. (New 'copy-to-clipboard' is handy!) It's simply an excellent HP 15C™ emulator—maybe the best. You'll be happy with the app.
