Sob os olhares de esperança, de orgulho e de confiança, tenho a satisfação de informar a todos a consolidação do Instituto Superior de Ciências Policiais (ISCP), órgão de educação superior da nossa Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal.

Assim como a corporação, o ISCP inicia sua trajetória com a idêntica vocação de servir a sociedade e com a certeza de que a educação é de fato um instrumento de transformação. Dessa forma a polícia militar escreve mais um momento de sua história já impregnada pelos mais puros valores da justiça, da lealdade e do respeito aos direitos humanos.

O credenciamento do ISCP, pelo Ministério da Educação, gera nessa corporação o compromisso e a responsabilidade pelo contínuo aperfeiçoamento institucional, e agrega à PMDF um espírito de entusiasmo e de busca pelo conhecimento e compreensão dos fenômenos que impactam a segurança pública. Conhecimento que resultará em aprimoramento das atividades, maior interação com a comunidade acadêmica e com toda a sociedade, ingredientes para uma cultura com mais paz e tranquilidade.
