O festival nasceu para divulgar a arte da dança oriental árabe e unir os praticantes, profissionais da área e apreciadores em um evento fantástico que possibilita a troca de conhecimentos, aprendizado, novos contatos e negócios, tornando o grupo das danças orientais árabes o mais organizado e unido segmento da área de dança do país.

Com o passar dos anos o Mercado Persa tornou-se ainda um dos principais pontos de encontro de mulheres do Brasil, característica que automaticamente inseriu no festival atividades de interesse do universo feminino como feira, palestras de saúde e beleza e workshops.

O grande elo de ligação entre os participantes é também a essência do evento; a dança. Atividade profissional ou de lazer que tem o poder de unir pessoas de diferentes regiões, idades e profissões independente de características físicas.

O Mercado Persa foi o primeiro evento do mundo realizado neste formato de festival oriental reunindo concursos, mostras de danças, desfiles , congresso e feira sendo utilizado como modelo e referência para centenas de outros eventos no Brasil, América Latina, Europa e inclusive no Egito. The festival was born to spread the art of Arabic oriental dance and join the practitioners, professionals and enthusiasts in a fantastic event that enables the exchange of knowledge, learning, new contacts and business, making the group of Arab oriental dances the most organized and united segment of the country's dance area.

Over the years the Persian Market became still one of the main points against women in Brazil, a feature that automatically entered in the festival's female universe interest activities as fair, health and beauty lectures and workshops.

The major link between the participants is also the essence of the event; the dance. professional activity or leisure that has the power to unite people from different regions, ages and professions of independent physical characteristics.

The Persian Market was the world's first event held in this eastern festival format gathering contests, dance shows, fashion shows, congress and trade fair being used as a model and reference for hundreds of other events in Brazil, Latin America, Europe and even in Egypt.
