GPS TAKE-OFF RULER

Hello, this aplication utilize the GPS of your phone or tablet to determine how much meters of ground roll your aircraft is using for take-off. It play a sound when passing VR speed if you choose to do it and make a graphic of distance X altitude and speed.
In the pictures you can see a Piper Arrow Take-Off captured data with the result of 539 meters.

How to:

1- Enter in the Settings/Set Before Take-Off Page and put in the fields the speed that you expect to be leaving the ground (VR in Km/h because is more precise), the altitude in meters above the runway where you want to know which distance you are from the start point (if you expect to use the altitude Logic mode). And the ‘Capture Stop Distance’, the distance between the start point and where the data have no more interesting values (default 1500 meters, runway length+500 is a good choice).

ARM one or both of the Logic to have a value return and a line in the graphic to show where you pass the rotate speed or the altitude selected.
ARM one of the Sounds to be play when passing the Rotate Speed (VR).
2- Return for the Main Page and when ready for take-off (Align in the runway) Click in ‘Capture GPS reference point’ multiple times to ensure that the reference coordinates was capture and you have a good precision.

3- During the run, you will have the GPS information in real time. Wait for the message who will show you one result (if you armed one Logic) and tell you to enter the graphic.

4- Good flight!
Check the results only in the ground, analyze your graphic with safety.

For better results open the program and turn on your GPS at least 5 minutes before the take-off. A Gps precision better than 10 meters (showed in the top main page) is required to have a good result in altitude reads (not GPS external antenna necessary).
