Neil - Personal Curator AI for Android
It's very cool. But i need more diverse and specific topics.
Almost impossible to get article suggestions for science and politics that aren't extremely left leaning. I tried every combination of words I can think of to get Neil to show news from conservative sources; but I either get articles that are from left leaning sites that are insulting conservatives or it tells me there aren't any articles about this topic or that it's too specific. I'm not saying this was intentionally done by the developers of this app but it's a definitely a problem and will probably cause 50% of people to uninstall instantly, as I did. If there was a way to manually add websites to your interests and blacklist others it would be a decent app. I will change my rating if it happens.
It is great but need more detail and current updates.
It's very useful. It displays all the features one by one in a very user friendly mode
Really useful app. I am using it daily
This seems more like the illusion of machine learning, you're still asking users to enter topics to track... At least my normal news apps present stories in a concise, organized feed instead of being randomly generated (?) from your topic list one. at. a. time. I liked the idea for the app when I first read it. I just think the concept of machine learning isn't being well represented here. More just a hook for people who don't know programming talk.
Nice selection of articles. After some training nearly all the articles I get are actually worth reading. I like the bot interface too. It pushes me to pay attention and care about the content instead of blankly staring at an infinite feed

Great idea. Terrible implementation. The news sources are far left. In addition, the first history article I received was from mother nature network. The next one talked about nature as of she were an actual mother. When I expressed that I liked Christianity I received an article about why we shouldn't say Merry Christmas to people. I mean, come on. Can't you at least pretend to you want to be unbiased? If you're a liberal you're going to love this app, but I didn't. I don't like getting anti-christian rhetoric about Christianity telling me not to celebrate my Savior's birth the way it should be celebrated. I also don't like reading fivethirtyeight and Vox. Come on man. I want to like this app, but you can't just shove your opinion down someone's throat while pretending it cares about your interests.
