This is a companion app for CastBuddy chrome extension. It allows you to control playback of a ChromeCast session started using the CastBuddy chrome extension.

Features:
1. Allows you to control playback of video being being played on your ChromeCast which were started using CastBuddy chrome extension
2. Experimental: Search and play videos on your ChromeCast or locally on your phone/tablet
How to use:
* To control playback for Video being casted using CastBuddy Chrome Extension:
1. Open CastBuddy app
2. Click on Cast icon in the app menu bar
3. Once CastBuddy App connects to an existing session, you can control playback from your phone and close your computer.
* To search and cast videos from internet(experimental):
WARNING: CastBuddy APP doesn't detect videos on all websites correctly, it is recommended to search and start playback from a Computer running CastBuddy Chrome Extension.
1. Open CastBuddy app
2. Enter a URL to visit or a search term to search
3. If compatible videos are found, notification icon on the App menu bar will show a count of videos found
4. Click notification icon to go to the Video list
5. Click on CastIcon to connect with your Chromecast
5. Select a video to start playing

Sure it casts videos from the Internet, and that function is splendid. But the problem is, it only casts SOME... I don't really know why, but even though I tried to play a mp4 video, it doesn't find it, as if invisible, although in some websites, their videos actually play fine. Maybe this app needs more compatible video formats. Please update it and maybe increase more compatible video formats, since this is my Fave app for using chromecast on my laptop.

Does what I need it to do: control what I cast from my PC. I have other apps on my android smartphone that I use to cast internet videos, but this comes in handy when I use the CastBuddy extension from my PC Chrome browser. Crashes fairly frequently, but is quick to reconnect and hasn't really been too much hassle.

Same web site works fine on the desktop version, but on the app, it said no video found.

Hangs all the time on pressing Videos button. Usability is awful. :(

Great app so I can close my laptop after I find a movie to stream. Would like to see a mute button if possible. Option to mute/pause on phone call or text message. A recent tab and favorites tab. "Allow soft renaming of files so we can recognize what's in our favorites and recent. Other wise love the app.
