Traditionally, Blackout (Aka Erasure) Poetry consists of selecting words from a block of text, erasing the rest to carve out a whole new or hidden meaning.

Using the app, select words from existing text from the web, connect them. Optionally blackout or dim the rest. Style and export to the image gallery. Share your creations on social media or optionally prune them using your favourite editing tools. All this in just a couple of clicks!
Just about any kind of source can be used - news articles, passages from novels, even shopping lists. Choose from a set of carefully themed templates as the backdrop for your writing.
Highlight current events, give voice to social causes, find hidden meanings, inspire new thoughts. There's no particular technique though the fun happens when you create something new as opposed to just skimming words. Users have created small poems, haikus, etc with this. All up to you!
