What is CardScape?
CardScape is a highly flexible planning system based on index card or sticky note principles, but unlike a physical layout pinned to the wall, you can take these index cards with you, still retaining the layout you have painstakingly created.
CardScape can be used for storyboarding, for planning, agile development, and any other task that uses a layout of index cards with text.
Why is it different to other tools?
Seeing and interacting with ideas in a spatial manner lets you form connections and links that are not obvious in an ordered list.
CardScape provides:
* an alternative to physical index cards/notes;
* an interactive system with cards on an infinite 2D surface;
* a substantial improvement over lists of cards, since CardScape does not tie you into a linear way of thinking;
* lets you use spatial memory and organisation;
* ease of use including a search facility to quickly find cards in a complex layout;
* flexibility - work on your project anywhere, anytime.
Please note that certain functions (Copy & Paste, and Move as group), and more functions to come, are disabled in this free version, and are enabled by buying the CardScape Key application. You can save and load files using the free version.

Glad I came across this unique app. I really appreciate that it makes no assumptions and allows me to use it my way. Works perfectly with OS 4.4. You can't drop and scatter this pile of index cards! Very low learning curve and nice interface.Hope to see some standard colour options for those of us who are colour-mixing challenged, but the colour mixer is perfectly in keeping with the free form concept. Well done and thanks to the developer!

How do you save and load files? How do you change preferences? I bought the paid version but I had to get a rephund becuase that doesnt do it either. Basically I think it would be a great program if I could save and load...

I installed it, purchased the key, installed that, but could not figure how to use some of the functions like create new group, move as group, search, etc. Finally figured out I should be able to see a toolbar which was not apparent on either of the two devices I had installed it on, so I attempted to contact the developer but kept getting error messages from my mail server referencing the developer's account. So it's a great idea that doesn't work and the developers don't - develop.

Low memory usage, unlimited canvas, easy to use, good color and text options, zooming, ability to export to desktop. I am using it to storyboard a script I've been stuck on due to poor planning. This is just a great little app.

This app is on it's way to replace the 5x3 ft. index board in my office. Neat! Now I will be packing my index board in my phone and carry it everywhere I go. Gonna try this out for a couple of weeks, then I go for the Premium Key. Well done, developers!

Looked promising when I got it. Then I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and couldn't get to the toolbar anymore. Apparently you have to use the tablet's menu button--which the S2 doesn't have. It's a shame, really. What I saw of it was very encouraging. Maybe I'll go back to it, if someone fixes that. Judging by previous comments, I'll be waiting a while...
