Crashes android auto when selecting "folder/play list" from side menu. Artist songs mixed alphabetically instead of proper "artist-album-song# order. Samsung S7 edge android 7.0 verizon. Still looking for a touch menu driven local storage music player for android auto. Because google music doesn't know how to play albums that have the same title as one of their songs.

Downloaded for Android Auto, but it doesn't resume playback or remember the last played song. Playlists are not separated from the folders/albums list, meaning more scrolling to listen to what you want. Could definitely use more work, but it lets me play all my music whereas Play Music won't.

One of the best music apps I've used, other than a very large flaw - if you leave the phone not playing music for over about half an hour, it clears the now playing list (doesn't resume playback when you next press play). This sucks when driving and trying to listen to music. I wrote another review previously, and the developer assured me that the issue had been resolved, and the app required an update, though as of yet, I am still yet to actually receive an update, and even when trying to contact the developer directly, have received no response, even after a month and a followup. Definitely would give five stars IF the app worked as intended, and so far, unfortunately, at this time, I cannot give that, at least until there is an update provided.

Make lg g6 freeze often on the lock screen, still not resume if closed and reopen on android auto, shuffle do not handle all songs got like 7000 and always repeating the same 500 approx, cannot sort all music by folders , shuffle need some work... Shuflle + never repeat same song dont work well and does not save to resume after resarting apps. But is the best player for android auto. Keep the good work going guys!!!! This app worked great for a while, but recently the Android auto implementation has been broken, never retains memory of what you were playing so you have to start all over again anytime you switch apps or disconnect the phone. Also it no longer lets you limit folders for music library, it immediately adds the folder back for your entire phone's storage, totally negating the functionality.

Pros: It supports Android Auto! Cons: - When it's connected to the car, it doesn't remember what was playing in a previous session. - It doesn't support ReplayGain! (Motorola G3 - Android 6.0)

Pretty good app, till it stopped remembering what I was listening to every time I stopped using it. Now next to useless with Android Auto, cause of the Auto limitations in choosing music while driving.

This app would be perfect if they fix 2 things. When you select artist you should then be able to select an album instead of just getting a list of all tracks. Second, theres no need to constantly display the scanning notification at the bottom of the screen each time you navigate to another area of the app.

Contrary of what I thought to be true, this does not work with Android auto to play mp3s. That was the only reason I downloaded it because I'm sick of Pandora I like to listen to my own music.

Absolutely useless with android auto. Crashes every time you select folder or Playlist. This should not be advertised as compatible with Android auto. It most certainly is not.

I really like the set up and UI! It would be great if you could edit the metadata -- the track info button is right there on the play screen already. Also the ability to reorder the now playing queue would be nice. I like that you can specify folders to exclude/include. The driving mode screen is a nice touch.

This app works excellent with Android auto. I love it! Easy to use. Only app I use for my music now. I totally recommend it!!

It is a great app that you can use with android auto. A feature I really want is fast forward and rewind in android auto. Some other apps allow it by detecting press and holding of next / previous song button. Hope I can have a similar feature in md player!!

Android Auto integration is not good. Tells me folder is empty making me search manually for folders. Forgets where it so in the playlist when car is stopped, starting playlist from the beginning everytime. I am using a Samsung S5 on a 2017 Skoda head unit

Great app for listening to music while driving, but I guess there was a landscape mode which is now missing in the update, I have only portrait mode which is not that much useful while driving, hope u put it back in quick update, thx

When using android auto and this app it crashes all the time when selecting to view folders this needs to be fixed simple things can't of been tested

Excellent implementation for Android Auto - the best I've seen. It also plays my hi res flac files from my phone's SD card. Well done to the developer!!

Just two words.. Android Auto. At last an app that integrates with AA without all the restrictions and glitches of Apple Music/Spotify/Amazon Music etc. Very pleased so far.

Done updating my MDPlayer.. But can i have a request to have a choices for a theme color, like PURPLE. I like purple! But very nice apps. Still free ads.

Love it. Now the default music player on my S8 AND with a Android Auto. Makes Android Auto fun, plus for me, it remembers song and resume location even with my songs on an SD card.

.FLAC files don't show up at all in the library. Only mp3 files are working. All other music players I have installed can detect the files except md player.

No feature for multiple albums by one artist. i.e. When I browse by artist and tap the artists name there should then be an option to pick and album

Loved its simple but cool UI. Need more options like sort by track year, date etc. Album View is missing

Amazing, was looking for a alternative for Google play music for Android Auto. Works flawlessly and easy to browse through albums.

It's perfect for what I need. I conveyed from windows phone to android and it plays ask of my windows downloaded music.

The only advantage of this player it's compatibility with Android Auto. Very poor playlists management ((
