The City of Knoxville's Office of Special Events strives to make our community a desired city in which to "Live, Work & Play". This office oversee's the many special events that happen within the City of Knoxville. Our responsibilites include, planning and overseeing a wide array of events and publicity efforts designed to promote various programs and initiatives based upon the Mayor and the City of Knoxville's mission. This includes public speaking engagements, celebrations, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings and festivals.
