About BYBC
BYBC Beyond Your Best Counseling is an APG (alternative peer group) in the Houston TX metro area. We have locations in The Woodlands (N of Houston) and Cypress (NW of Houston) and help teens and their families find their through addiction and mental health issues.
Our primary purpose is to help with the disease of addiction that is hidden within our society. Society's stigma on addiction is not positive or helpful. Little by little the disease is creeping out into the light, and more and more people and families are seeking professional help—and it all starts with our adolescents.
BYBC is a State Licensed Intensive Outpatient Facility as well as a Certified Training Institute.
At BYBC, we provide an Alternate Peer Group (APG) for teens that is coordinated specifically with both the parent's and the adolescent's schedules. This is an all inclusive program developed to help the entire family. It is a family disease and if the adolescent is to have a chance at succeeding, participation from the parent or parents is imperative.
Beyond Your Best Counseling - BYBC is a Facility licensed by the State of Texas that specializes in addiction and issues relevant to addiction. We offer an integration of individualized customized treatment, counseling, and support groups to maximize the client's potential to remain sober and mentally healthy. In addiction and issues surrounding addiction, there are some basic principles that must be followed but the methodology, presentation, and accountability of these principles varies.
We offer:
Free Assessments- because this allows you and us to decide if we are a good fit.
Individual Counseling Sessions - because there may be a need for extra individual issues to be discussed with a Counselor or a Mental Health Professional.
Family Counseling Sessions - because the family is a vital part of the equation and there are issues that may need to be discussed with someone that has experience on how to handle these situations.
Free Support Meetings for Clients- because we know how much money you may have already spent on the client via treatment, legal issues, private schooling, and/or therapy.
Free Parent Meeting- because as a parent, connecting to other parents is going to be vital to knowing that you are not alone in this battle. In addition, this meeting is a way for you to become educated with what is going on with the client.
IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) and GOP (General Outpatient Program) - because there may be a need for more than just support meetings.
High Staff-to-Client Ratios - because we would like you and the client to have easy direct access to communication with our Executive Director and all the BYBC team.
