I have dedicated my life and career to learning and exploring and researching ways to bring positive change and break throughs into people’s lives. I went to Brandeis University to become a pediatric surgeon - a dream of mine since I was 5 years old - and I came out with degrees in Biology and Sociology - and a fresh perspective a way to bring life and social sciences together. And I thought - instead of being a person inside of the system, I wanted to someone to influence the system from the outside-in. So, I went on to get a Masters of healthcare administration (while working full-time at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA) and a PhD in Health Services, Research - which included Health Care Economics and Social Policy from Brandeis University.
