Calendar Widget 2 Lite

THAT IS A MUST HAVE!! I actually made it appoint to re-look up this app to write this review cuz there wasn't any back link to rate the app. This is an awesome, beautiful, fun & 'exceptional SMALL' app size that I am just blown away! Many creative fun icons to choose from + option to randomly change icons all in this small app. I especially love the fact that it doesn't just display the date, but also the DAY for us folks that have 100+ stuff on our minds & lose track of what day in the week it is. Job well done!!! Some folks like to advertise their calendar w/a BIG calendar icon ...I prefer to make it a LITTLE discreet. Cuz, if someone wants to peek in my calendar ...I'm gonna make them look for it.

This app is horrible I downloaded it and it doesn't let me open it it just says uninstall so what the heck fix. I wanted my own calendar so I can keep track when school ends on my phone but no worst app ever ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

No longer opens calendar when widget is pressed. Just recently failed with 7.0 update. No app permissions​ required or available. Needs update or I'll expect to go extinct.

I use it so I know the date rather than using the bulky default date widget.

But please add the option to randomize from personally selected backgrounds only (allow to select multiple backgrounds for this option when selected) to the "Background option" menu, and also please allow to randomize after a custom selected period of time, not just once everyday or after every reboot, thanks.

This is a permanent resident on my home screen, but it does not work with Nouget!!!!

I really like this widget. It's much nicer than came with my Droid. I'm happy with the variety of widget styles. Super simple to use. Has worked great so far!

This app worked great before I updated to Nougat, now it doesnt open my calendar when i click the widget like it used to. Please fix it so it works with this update.

Now the widget won't open anything after my bionic was upgraded to ICS (May 2013 update...same thing after jelly bean update). Not going to buy the premium version of something that doesn't work.

Edit: (5sep: it's stuck on d same date for days) still loving it after using it since 2011. Could you making one icon with transparent background please? Perfect calendar widget! D chinese lunar calendar makes it complete!

Does not draw well on Nova, it is vertically centered rather than top-aligned. A simple option to top align would fix this however.

why can't I delete events from my facebook calendar that have already occurred or that im not attending? ? its annoying seeing the notifications there and not even being allowed to edit or delete them! !!

Got up this morning only to find that this widget won't work anymore and that the solution is to BUY their widget.

No security intrusions, and does exactly what I need. I've used it every day since September 2013. On my phone there have been no issues with displaying the correct information.

It sucks badly because it wont let me get it and says i cant have a ny widges

Used to have it on my note five but on note seven it will not work really bummed

This is better than the iPhone calender icon. You can have multiple icons that shows different calenders. Awesome! 6 Stars!!! It would be better still if the Chinese calendar date is shown in Chinese.

I just love it. It really easy to use and simple. There are lots of backgrounds to choose too >_< if u dont mind. Please add miku hatsune too

No complaints. Date changes and awesome backgrounds! Makes the calender fun and It's fully functional with the original calender app that came with the phone. I'm very happy!

clicking on the widget it no longer brings me to the built-in calendar app

All u have to do is have a label underneath saying calendar

It used to open my calendar when tapping it, now it does not. Pointless.

I have been looking for something just like this for a while now. Easy to use and I love the color choices. I just wish you could "cross off" previous days. Otherwise, it is awesome.

surprising to see few comments of it not working as desired, it works just fine for me, it updates the date without issues, it is the best and simplest widget around which displays the date as an icon

This widget used to open the calendar app when clicked on. Now it only displays the date and doesn't do anything when clicked. I'll have to find another widget to help save space on my home screen.

This worked when I first added it as a widget and it displayed birthdays etc. So why is it now not working? All it shows is the date. I am not going to give this a better rating until I know more. And in the meantime I will remove this widget from my device.

Had this on my old phone. Loved it. It's still really good, but I don't like the new calendar look when you open up the app. Might need to take some time to get used to.

It doesnt let me go on it and when i look on my apps its there but no where else. I HATE IT I CANT EVEN GO ON IT.

It just shows the date, but it does it on a fun-looking widget & lots to choose from so it may not do a lot, in what it does, it's versatile, hence the 5 stars.

I have a large screen and the widget is small but not too small where it can't be seen. It takes one space on the home screen.

I even purchased the 99¢app and I still don't see it. What happened to this lovely widget??

Without having to open it it tells you the date. It also takes 1 square space, which is useful to me!

Downloaded successfully but can find it in apps /widgets

The date keeps starting the same, so I have to keep putting it in the trash and putting it back up again everyday. It never did this in the beginning but now its doing it every day. If you could please fix this because this is the BEST app for a calendar with all the varieties. I would rate it a 10 if the date actually changed everyday.
