The Statenvertaling Bijbel is the first official translation of the Bible in Dutch, made directly from the original biblical languages: Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.
The Statenvertaling Bijbel is divided into two major sections known as the Old and the New Testament.
The Testaments are a compilation of books. All the books has been divided into chapters and into verses. There are 31,102 verses.
