La Biblia que presentamos (SEVA) es una Biblia cristiana protestante, su traducción fue realizada por Martin Stendal, misionero evangelista nacido en Estados Unidos y criado en Colombia. Experto en idioma español e inglés, estudió hebreo y produjo esta versión de la Biblia en idioma español desde un manuscrito de la Biblia traducida por Casiodoro de Reina, una de las primeras traducciones castellanas de la Biblia.

La versión de Martin Stendal fue notable en su fidelidad a los textos originales, pero a la vez logró una versión actualizada, útil y comprensible para todos.
