UPcourse Mobile

UPcourse Mobile(copy of UVLe - continuation) is a learning management system of the University of the Philippines that enables instructors to

- organize their classes around topics, themes, weekly schedules
- upload digitized materials and share them with students
- link relevant materials from other sites
- post announcements that will be sent out automatically to students
- create online forums and wikis for students to participate in
- collect and mark assignments
- automate plagiarism detection.

UI/UX changes and improvements

*App storage no longer limited to 5MB - depending on your device it can be between 50MB and your SD card capacity
*Calendar events can be seen offline
*Complete user profile information is displayed
*The complete user profile can be accessed from every page (participants, forum, messages)

*Activity completion: Activity completion status is displayed and can be updated for courses

*New add-on: Chat - Users can participate in the live chat via the app (only for sites using simple or Ajax chats; daemon chat not supported)

*Keyboard display - the keyboard is automatically displayed on a new screen requiring the user to enter data
*Courses with guest access enabled can be found and accessed using the search option in the app
*SCORM player: UPcourse Mobile can now play SCORM 1.2 packages online and offline. The app stores all tracking information, including grades, when offline, and synchronizes with UVLe when you are online again.
*Glossary - users can browse glossary entries (requires UVLe 2.6 onwards with the UVLe Mobile additional features plugin installed).
*Course and activity links can be followed using the app. For example, a link to a glossary entry will open in the app, or a link to a different course will show that course in the app. This allows any activity to be displayed.
