About INR Diary

INR Diary assists in following up your anticoagulation programme. Insert the daily dose of your blood thinner medication (Warfarin, Coumadin, Marcoumar, Sintrom, Marevan, Falithrom, ...) for a certain period of time. You can add one dose at a time or multiple doses in bulk, according to a dose scheme. Doses can be expressed as an amount of pills or in milligrams. The app will remind you to take your daily dose at a personally configurable time.

Tap on your daily dose to confirm you've taken the blood thinner medication. The timestamp of confirmation is stored in the app. That way, you'll never forget if and at what time you've taken a pill.

The app also allows you to enter INR measurements of your blood and presents a graphical overview that visualizes the evolution of your INR in time. The app also calculates when a new INR measurement is planned.

Dose and INR data can be exported/imported for backup or transfer purposes.

It's a great app. The landing page is super nice and clean. I wish there was a way to actually put my next INR appointment in, hooked up with Google calendar or something, so I could have a location and time reminder for my appointment. The grey gradient inside pages feel a bit dated compared to the landing page. Otherwise, perfect for my needs. Edit: would also be nice to see dosage amount in push notification. Instead of clicking it, then having to see my dose, then take it, and then check off that I've taken it. If I'm out and about when I need to take it, the less clicks the better. And helps prevent forgetting to confirm if I can leave the push on my utility bar until I take it.

Hello Peter, thank you for two decimals for INR results. Also it would be helpful to have ability to view year for INR and to edit its date. Thanks!

Thanks Peter, great app. Would love the ability to add more than one INR test in same day (a retest often required if a result is very high/low) with a time stamp too would help. An alarm for the actual planned next INR test, plus the ability to export a date range of data (date/time/result) as a tab-delimited text file would be very useful for archiving purposes. Great work though, thanks

Much better now. The ability to add doses in bulk helped a lot. Still a bit strange that you need to set an end date, and it seems like the app is just creating a gazillion entries if you set it far into the future, but at least it is possible to do it. Import and export works, but I'd love to save the files in a selectable folder (or even better - in Dropbox, ownCloud, Google Drive or similar). - A regular automatic backup/scheduled export would also be great. Also, I'd love to have an even nicer graph, with my defined range marked out, and selectable time range (last month, last three months, last year, since forever...) But overall, it's getting much better, and I think I'm switching to this app now, after having used another app for INR-tracking for years.

EDIT: The ability to add bulk doses makes this app a lot more useful, it could still do with a bit of work (I can't see how to add a reminder for INR tests, as a forgetful self-tester this would be very useful to me) but it's getting close to in some ways and better in others than the app I used on iOS. I've only just started using this so I have yet to see if I can mark a dose as having been taken if it's rolled past midnight. Being a night owl, I normally take mine before bed which might be 4, 5 or 6am some days. Nice work! Previous version: As mentioned in other reviews, there are several basic functionality issues with this app at the moment. It desperately needs an option to set dosage forever/until the next test, and also to enter a test date rather than assume it's as far into the future as doses have been manually entered. Also most people take their Warfarin at night, but once the clock rolls past midnight it is impossible to mark a dose as having been taken. I'll keep an eye on the app, but these are all deal breakers for me.

Need to add all doses by day (no way to just say "5 mg every day until forever") which is a hassle. No graphs No import or export of data Just not good enough yet

Nice user interface comparing to others, but I really miss the ability to set up my usual daily/weekly dosage. Doing it for each day separately is inconvenient.
