‘Uitsprekend’ bestaat uit 21 series oefeningen. De focus ligt op klinkers, /oe/, /eu/ en tweeklanken. Je kiest zelf welke klank je wil inoefenen. Via foto’s, luisteroefeningen, invuloefeningen en meerkeuzevragen, oefen je de correcte uitspraak in. Je kan ook je eigen uitspraak beoordelen via opnames. This app VDAB is intended for speakers who want to improve their pronunciation of Dutch.
'Expressing' consists of 21 series of exercises. The focus is on vowels / oe /, / eu / and diphthongs. You choose which sound you want to practicing. Through photos, listening exercises, filling in the blanks and multiple choice questions, practice the correct pronunciation in. You can also assess your own voice over recordings.

Dankuwel, wat een mooie app! I wish it went more in-depth though, like helping with consonants, and going into how some common dialects can differ from standard varieties of Dutch. Excited for updates like that. Until then, I can only say it somewhat satisfied my needs.

I was using it until I noticed an accent. As I'm not familiar with dialects and accents in Dutch, I can't identify it. I only know that it's not the same as I'd call the more or less standard Dutch pronunciation. For example: "Samenkomen om dingen te bespreken" sounded weird. If you've listened to Dutch audios, podcasts, and radio programs, you'd know what I mean. Having said this, I think it's a nice effort on the part of the app-maker, especially because it's free.
