Edit to add: charts rarely work on the most recent version and the app crashes frequently. The developers appear to have dug themselves into a hole. I'm still disappointed I spent money on this product. They updated the app a few months back making the usage graphs virtually unreadable,which renders the app a lot less helpful and a lot more confusing than it was previously. While I hoped it was just teething issues that would be fixed, as the months drag on that hope is fading. Disappointingly the ios app is a lot more user-friendly so it seems android isn't a big focus for smappee. As it stands, the unit offers me no value and I regret purchasing it.

Have had the unit for almost a year. Had to use support help (me ringing Belgium) to get it working correctly....not my faulting. Since last app update I can't get anything working with reliable results. Contact support (rang) as email useless and still can't get system working properly. Support now too busy to talk to me! Great concept, great idea, poorly executed! Still waiting for my Smappee to work correctly.... Right now I want my money back....

1. Too big bubles, so information showing energy difference (on/off appliance) isn't visible enought. 2. Data in bubbles on main screen need more time to showing data firs apps is opened. 3. Still, you don't give us oportunity to delete some events linked to known appliance. 4. I really don't understand why one off my switches switch off appliance after aproximately houre after switch was switch on? And don't convince me that I setup trigger so, because before upgrading application switch worked fine! 5.ETC

If every shower, or bath session generates an excessive water consumption alert (on each device) there is something wrong with the logic... Also, if you don't have solar energy (and never had) the solar "ball" should not be present either. The app also forgets username/password regularly, major inconvenience. Today's update changed currency from € to £.

In the web app I could change the currency from £ to € but in the Android app I cannot. It seems to work only with £!! Any chance to get euro instead? NOTE: solved! Need to configure the region in the Android settings.

Great product and app - really dont like the pulsating circles in the updated version. Please go back to old circles (transparency is fine just not pulsating - makes no sense when circle size is supposed to accurately convey energy use / production).

Everything was working fine. Changed wifi and with this update I can't reinstall Smappee. When I press "Show wifi networks" I get a blank screen no matter how long I wait. Smappee is now useless....

Delete records from appliances is not working. User interface should be improved, looks like an old iPhone app. Neurio, the Smappee alternative, is doing a really nice work in this area!

Don't bother... They updated the app and the device had to be re-setup, except the app just freezes. Even their website version totally sucks and fails to work including 404 errors. Support takes months to send useless replies... Most expensive paper weight I've purchased.

In my old app I can long press on the consumption icon and it showed me what appliances are on. This useful feature has disappeared in the latest app. Please bring back these useful features. Edit: Events list on/off status is now fixed, thank you. Good to see that we can now trigger plugs based on net solar export/import.

With the new update if you click on the details of your appliances the back button takes you back through all the appliance pages you just looked at before taking you to the appliance list screen with the menu. Back button should take you to the menu, not to the previous appliance

A bug on android doesnt allow me to see the available wifi networks. The screen remains blank.

Installation of the product in the fuse box was easy. It takes a few days for Smappee to come up with discovered appliances, and it takes some effort to identify what these appliances are, and what is consuming Always-On power. But the results are rewarding. The technology does not offer a 100% coverage and it depends on the situation, but I get very close to 90% and hope to improve the Always-On metrics.

The app is great at tracking our overall solar production and electricity usage. It fails in recognizing appliances. Even appliances which are turned on daily at the same time with a smappee remote are most of the time not monitored - while this is the thing you buy smappee for.

It used to work fine but for a while now the table with values is incorrect. I always get a notification of network timzout and since yesterday the app no longer wants to work, just shows blank smappee window...

Latest update has broken the "Usage" part of the app. Graph is good, but the table below is not showing correctly. Instead it is showing only the part with"Appliances" with zero values in all fields. Graph is showing good values.
