About Velo Antwerpen
The official app of the city's handy bike.
With this app you can e.g.:
- look up any free bikes or Velo lockers in real-time
- find the nearest route to a Velo station on a map or in a list view
- calculate the quickest route to a Velo station
- report a Velo issue to the Velo dispatching service
- mark your favourite Velo station
- search a Velo-station or a specific location in Antwerp
The bikes were especially designed for intensive use in the city, for young and old, for men and women. Thanks to its ergonomic design and the easy adaptable seats you can sit up straight, regardless your length. Furthermore the bikes have three gears, anti-skid pedals and thick tires to avoid you getting stuck in the tram rails. The small front wheel makes it easier to steer. In the handy luggage rack above the steering wheel you can easily transport large and small bags.

Er stond koop dag- of weekpas via de app, maar niets te vinden...

Defecte velo? Melden via de app wordt goed opgevolgd. Stations refreshen niet zo snel automatisch, manueel lukt het wel.

The feedback about stations is pretty much live. You can also report problems to bikes. This system could use an update. Right now its still sent bye email should be an internet form tbh.

With the new version it has become impossible to find the nearest station based upon an address. It is always asking you to turn on gps. Also checking out a route from one station to another before you go there, isn't possible anymore.
