KaraokeCast

I have had this app before and it worked great, went to go download it on my new phone and no songs are in the song list. It just says no video was found, I tried searching for songs I knew were on there and still nothing. I also tried reinstalling it but again to no avail.

The download and installed is ok, but every time the application is opened, it says downloading song and take forever and sometime come with black screen that you wait so long and think the application hang. More trouble is when you try to enter the displayed password code on TV to establish the Chromecast connection, the Android keyboard displayed has number only ) no alphabetic code) , but the password code has alphanumeric code. So I end up no able to enter the code to establishing connection as there is no alphabetic character on the displayed Android keyboard?? The google voice input didn't work either.

This app is fairly mediocre. It performs the features it has mostly fine, but is lacking in some basic Karaoke features. The app seems to be basically a skin for creating YouTube playlists. Pros: Lots of Taylor Swift songs available Lyrics are (mostly) correct and synced with the music Casts to google cast devices more or less reliably Request song feature exists (don't know that it actually does any good) Cons: Missing some crucial Karaoke features, such as highlighting current lyrics, instrumental or rest count/countdown Playlist is very limited, beyond Taylor Swift. Many Karaoke standards and favorites are missing. My recommendation is to save the room on your phone/tablet and skip the app - go straight to YouTube and build your own karaoke playlist. This app does not offer enough functionality to justify taking up room on your device.

More than half of the songs say that those are no longer available, extremely poor app.

Please add an option to choose the letter of the alphabet you wish to search. There are tons of songs and I would like to be able to jump to "r's" to search those songs. Also, it would be really great to be able to type the name of the singer at your party. So, in the queue section add the singers name. So... "suzy, you're up!" That would be awesome.

Not even a single song out of the millions of existing Bollywood songs. Very disappointing.

Downloaded the app. cast symbol in the corner but doesn't list my chrome cast but requests a pin on the screen that doesn't exist. I opened the app through chromecast itself. nope nothing. reset the chromecast. nope. reloaded the app. nope and now the cast symbol is gone. there is no option to connect at all. I know it is not my phone or cast as I am watching netflix right now via chromecast. I am using a samsung s6 and Android 5.1.1 advice to fix once I can use it will give more stars

If only someone can make the phone's microphone project the voice over to the TV or speakers with Echo settings. That will be the best Karaoke cast app in the entire world

I like how it is so simple and works like a karaoke and even has a countdown. Has many songs and even if I don't have the song I want I can ask for it. If you ask me how to improve it I would say 3 things. 1) add setting option for adding backup singers, I like to sing with a backup singer sometime. 2) I would like to make the phone as a Mike so I could sing to it and hear it from the TV like a real karaoke machine. Lastly if it was possible I would like to have a singing score, the same one as Rock band.

good selection of songs and clever idea... needs an extra option to play on random which would be great for parties

This is an awesome app. There are some shortcomings but it does the job wonderfully. If more people install and buy this Dec will have more incentive to spend time on this. Again, an awesome app.

Looks promising, but need to be able to stop song and move on to the next one. Currently you have to sit thru the queue to get to next song

Wish Bollywood songs also be here

EXACTLY what I was looking for! A home splash screen with the song queue is awesome! Rather than queuing up in YouTube, this feels more professional. I'm a donate, so that this app could be here forever! !!
