Backup message & call to Email

I do LOTS of business purely on my cell where I could go thru a day with hundreds of important texts and calls. How to keep a copy of all that? This is THE solution. An absolute essential to anyone with important cellphone activity that you need to keep records of. It does it all. SMS, MMS and calls.

I like being able to back up my conversions to my Gmail account and not worry about when I switch phones, or auto removal of old texts, losing past chats. Two things that make this a 4 instead of a 5: 1. It doesn't maintain timestamps of actual sms / mms that are backed up, timestamps are replaced with date/time of backup; 2. Auto backup doesn't work. I have to manually backup every day or two. Overall though, nice app to have.

Good app. Saves my call and messages to gmail. Gmail offer better and convenient search. Saves to recover some contacts when the phone is broken. It shouldn't ask for in-app purchases. Bad on this part, but nothing has happened to me yet. I use the NoRoot firewall to make sure it only connects when using Wifi

This app did not work for me. I ended up with only the messages I had sent restored on my new phone and only a handful of the messages I had received. I also had alot of extra random blank messages appear that weren't on my old phone and that I couldn't delete. It also caused a handful of messages to be resent from my new phone.

Nice app, and i would imagine there are many things that could cause problems, so it doesnt surprise me that people have so many problems. My issue was every text i recieved was restored as if i had sent it. Also, some contacts are messed up in weird ways. But at least i have the texts!

Backed up over 12,000 messages without a hitch! This app does exactly what it's suppose to do, with several options available. I had tried a few others before this one, each failed. ~Keeping this one!............ Edit: 1 year later and this app has never failed me!

I've used in the past with success but today none of my received SMS were restored after a factory reset. I see the messages in my Gmail but they just don't get restored! Looks like the dev is AWOL. His domain is no longer valid and no updates since 2013. This app does NOT work with the latest Android, should probably be pulled from the store!

This app really does what is advertised. I would give 5 stars if the dev could add a contact selection. I do not want all of my contact conversations backed up. There is only one or two contact conversations I need to have backed up.

Was working fine a week ago. Doesn't at all today. NEW DAY: IT'S WORKING AGAIN! Change rating from 1 to 5 stars!

I forget that this is installed until I search Gmail on my desktop and find what I was looking for in some obscure SMS message. Very practical utility!

I do realize this application lacks some vital features like choosing which email, more authentication, and other default apps for Android like handouts and what not. A lot of people mentioned this however the app never claimed to do any of this. It does EXACTLY what it claims to do and does it very well.

I am not technically experienced at all! Easiest app ever. Honestly saved all my conversations text etc with no confusion

Easy to use but guys please make it some eye Pleasing. UI is very outdated. Thats not even material design.

Works like a charm. Backs up call logs and text messages. Good when there's a discrepancy. Proved beneficial when I was judged that I never made a call to a client and lost the contract. However I was re awarded the contract due to the back up.

Right nw auto backup works only with sms, It would be better if u implement auto backup for call logs too....... please provide authentication process while opening/modifying the application settings

Won't even open after install. No customer service response and app is no longest being updated/managed!

The only problem with it is it doesn't auto backup all the time I have to check it everyday to see if its done it and if not I have to back it up myself

I have used this app for years!!!! Love that it goes to my email account so if I need to I can get to it anytime anywhere if I need to. A big plus if you lose a person's phone number and you have texted that person at least once you can do a search for the person's name or by the contents of the text message in your email account to retrieve that person's number.

Holy cats, I've been pulling my hair out trying to update some spreadsheets with contact numbers and information, this works great. I can now search out the messages I want, copy and paste the info into my spreadsheet. I am totally happy!

This app was great when it first came out, but has been eclipsed by other apps. Biggest flaw is that it time stamps the texts in gmail when it uploads them, not when they are sent or received. This makes searching by date almost impossible or pointless.

The title is dead serious, its a basic app, but it works, I go between CM and Stock, and AOKP and all the other random mix of roms you can find and this tool is a life saver when making the migration! I have reported a few bugs here and there and seen them fixed, and as of this review I only know of 2 bugs... A++ App! EDIT: As of this moment, using this tool for a family friend... when you have almost 9000 TXT messages you want saved, this app takes FOREVER! Still great, but SLOW! Would love to see pa

It doesn't continue to run. It'll run and back up a thousand texts or so and then I'll go back into the app and it'll have stopped. Even if I leave the app open all night while sleeping this occurs...

I absolutely LOVE this app. I've been needing an app to backup all my text messages forever. So glad I found this. It saves everything for me to go back and reflect on. I love love love love it. Oh, and did I say I love it? Definitely recommend this 100%.

Good program, but only recently I noticed that MMS are being backed up as Unknown sender/reciever.. So when I restore the SMS and mms, all the MMS end up one thread.

I don't want to backup all messages every single time. That's several thousand messages. I want to filter by date range. Or maybe filter by recipient/conversation. This is way too basic.

It only copied my out going so I don't have complete correspondence hmph :-(

I've been using this app for a while now and on a couple different phones. It's easy and does what I need. The only thing I wouldn't mind is ability to choose which conversations to backup instead of everything.

Works great except for MMS messages. Only the text of the message (if any) is backed up, the media content is not. I would expect that to appear as an attachment, no? Also, would agree that only allowing backup to Gmail is rather limiting.

I was looking for long for such an app which can keep lifetime calls and SMS log no matter how many mobiles I have been using.

Very straightforward and effective! Just what you need if you have multiple phones or just need to keep your data safe

About restore. Does it restore deleted call and texts? Can you tell me step by step how to restore please

This app needs to access to many functions of my phone which I find it unreasonable. Why do this app needs to access my photos or my history and location. Uninstall now.

Easy to setup, works as magic on both wifi and GSM data... just as expected.

Great for catching and backing up messages that might come in handy later on.
