NEW!!!

Support OBDLink MX Wifi!!!

FIXE's
--- We have fixed customer reported bugs from both previous versions of obdCANeX Lite and added additional vehicles...

Voice control functionality is now standard to obdCANeX Lite! We have also continued to decrease overall vehicle response time as well - faster than your OEM Key-fob!

obdCaneX Lite is an Android based application which allows full keyfob control functions of your vehicle. Including unlocking and locking of doors, activation of your panic alarm, remote starting and shutting off of your engine (if OEM equipped remote start capability is activated).

Please read the 3 requirements listed below:

1. This application has been developed for use with and requires ScanTool’s Bluetooth OBDLink MX module (Wifi or Bluetooth). You can purchase the module directly from obdCANeX (http://obdcanex.com/o/hardware/obdlink-mx), or if you purchase obdCANeX, Lite, a link is provided in-App which will give you FREE SHIPPING. This module plugs into your OBDII port and is needed for our app to communicate with your car. If you already own an OBDLink MX Bluetooth or Wifi module, please make sure your has firmware update 3.0 and above installed. http://www.scantool.net/downloads/updates/obdlink_mx/

2. GM vehicle 2007-2012 (some 2007/2012 model vehicles are not currently supported. Please e-mail us with any questions of applicability).
We are currently testing other makes, models, and year groups and will post a list of compatible vehicles as they become verified. We do have a Dodge Journey, 2013 tested and added in for basic key-fob functionality (NO REMOTE START yet on the Dodge...)

3. A Android phone with touch-screen and BlueTooth capability is required.

Future obdCANeX releases will be available soon with more features. Please visit http://www.obdcanex.com for more information. Upgrade options for existing customers of the obdCANeX Lite version will be available.

Please send us an e-mail with any questions and we will be happy to assist you further.

This is a great app with fantastic potential however it does lack some stability on my phone which caused the phone to crash a few times but otherwise has a few cool options. The only reason why I didn't like it and was the reason for purchasing it in the first place was the "roadside assistance" component would have been of great use to me however it does not seem to work on my car model.

I downloaded paid for this app in the hopes that it would be compatible with my 2007 Trailblazer. I assumed, wrongly, that one of the listed Vehicles would share protocols with my vehicle... After trying every GM vehicle in the list I was proven wrong, sadly. I've given a four-star rating... Will raise it to 5 stars if support is added.

I was just happy with the unlock doors function, I don't have to subscribe to onstar for that now, and I did lock my keys in once. Needs more options though. Don't really care for heated seats control, but would love window, roof (have a convertible 2013 Camaro ZL1, or even SUNROOF for coupe owners), trunk, and perhaps most of all the ability to override and open factory NPP dual mode exhaust. Ideally, an android set of widget buttons to perform saved tasks (such as exhaust control) without loading full app

For my Holden Commodore it could lock and unlock the doors but it didn't start the engine...and when I attempted to turn off the engine using this app it affected the ECM and the engine stopped responding to the accelerator pedal. Luckily I managed to reprogram the ECM and the car is fine now.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G8 FRONT GT with an OBDLink MX wifi module. None of the features on this app work. I emailed them but haven't heard back yet. Seems sketchy but I would save your money. Update 2/9: Updated app. Still no success. Sent a log to them to see if they can solve it. They should remove the G8 model till they know it works. 2/23 Still haven't heard back. Nothing in my spam folder.

I purchased this app to work with my OBDLink MX on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. App works well. Has a lag sometimes when completing a command. My only thing is I watched your video from August, 2012 that shows controls for windows, seats, radio, lights ect... When will these controls be available?

Just paid for this app as kickstarter recommended it with the Mx module, but there's no WiFi support so the app can't even connect =[

Bought to work with obdlink mx, but didn't realize it doesn't work with wifi. Obdlink site points to it. Says it's for mx on Web page. Had to read reviews to figure out why it won't work.

They finally changed their description to say no wifi support and the reason they did it? So they could comment on the bad reviews and say they cant read. When I got the app it didn't say that anywhere in the description. You guys also might want to go remove the kickstarter that points to your app saying you can use it. The reason I gave one star was because when I got the app it didn't Say anything about WiFi. So I contacted support multiple times. And never got an answer until now.

Bought the app after getting an OBDLink MX for christmas, christmas eve. App didnt work. Sent a frustrated email to the company. They responded on christmas day and I was amazed for the first time. They let me know an update was on the way and asked if I could wait a few days. Another person from the company contacted me yesterday to set me up with a way to get the update. Yesterday was new years eve, another holiday. Amazed again. I installed the app and it works great on my 2012 chevy cruze. App clearly states in the description that it does not work with non GM vehicles and only for 2007 to 2013.

This app was bought for my 2012 Chev cruze. It worked as advertised! Finally nice to see someone using the power of the onboard ECU. Can't wait to see what they add next this app is easily worth the $$. Great job!

Poor looks, does nothing with Opel Astra J 2012 with Obdlink Mx. Maybe some other car. I even took their offer and contacted the developer to include me into their test program, no answer yet. >>> Still no answer from the developer. They have another useless app called Lite. Try to use their app within 15 minutes so that you get a refund!
