(VS985) LG G3 AutoRec-Lollipop

I had the 35B firmware, and had to downgrade using a special DLL file to get this to work. Thanks to the dev who I would have been lost without I saved my phone. Like he said, this phone is unbrickable, but that said if you have the 35b firmware you need to downgrade first before doing this method. v35B is rootable now, but I highly recommend downgrading first. If you do root it, and use this you're on your own, but the dev will help you anyway. He's a real sweetheart.

Accidentally i have downloaded this and softbrick my phone, im stuck in security error in boot, mine is VS98524B. i forgot to download the one you gave in the link,it worked for my other lg but it bricked my wife's lg since i forgot to download the other one instead, please send me a link of a tutorial on how to fix this. I had tried many times to install TWRP on my VS985 each time it came up with a boot secure error. this worked FLAWLESSLY! Even backed up my original files. 5 STARS!!!!!

BRICKED my phone (vs985). It shows completely black screen with Blue and Red LED's flashing alternately . pls provide some help . i cant enter download mode even . PLS ELP !!!

I was rooted and everything booted after flashing bam phone is dead only vibrates not even splash screen unbelievable : EDIT: APP DEVELOPER PLEASE INCLUDE "5.0.1 ONLY!!!" Just for others who did not/ are not going to read the description DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF LOLLIPOP. I bricked my phone because of it which gave a nights worth of headache and stress to fix.

Didn't work for me lollipop 5.01 stock rooted just goes to stock recovery

Its completely bricked my phone and now have to get a new one which currently dont have the money for #WithoutAPhone

Before I go and do this, by "Stock Lollipop", do you mean LG's Stock Lollipop ROM or google's stock ROM?

Not working when I tried to flash it worked but when i tried to boot into the recovery it ‎said no command

I had to completely wipe my phone from my computer due to a boot loop. No hard feelings tho since it gave me the motivation to flash CM 12.1 instead of the stock ROM

This soft bricks if you are on stock rooted 24 B so don't use it unless you're on 23 C or lower

Initially it seemed to work. But then it soft bricked my phone into two different boot loops. After wipe and restore using twrp and a previous CM 12.1 backup it all seems fine. So a bit odd and unorthodox but I did get everything settled.

But you have to flash a rom straight away. If you try to just reboot after installing twrp, you'll get the security error. Download a rom and gapps first, then use this app, then flash the rom. Click reset or wipe cache to get into twrp from the stock recovery it takes you to when you first try to enter recovery.

If you've been having a hard time flashing a custom recovery due to being on lolipop. Say no more!

After it said ready to go it would allow me to click on the install twrp. I could click on restore to stock but nothing happened when I clicked on the other lollipop.

A lifesaver. Flashify and TRWP Manager could not get me to recovery, but one try with AutoRec and I was in.

On the latest 24B update it will install TWRP but when rebooting you get the secure boot error. Please fix. Thanks!

Simple and painless. I got soft-bricked but the fix is easy. Just load ROM and gapps through USB, and use the recovery to install.

Worked in under 10 seconds, and way better than trying to install manually, which never worked for me.

Easy and Painless. I couldn't get any other way to install TWRP, but this one worked. I am on 24B and it seems to be working fine. Just remember that once you boot into recover there is a stock menu you have to go through prior to getting into TWRP. Select Hard Reset and then select Yes. If it is installed it will not do a Hard Reset and will then boot into TWRP.

Sorry for the low rating, but I got a SECURITY ERROR on reboot that I couldn't bypass and had to wipe my phone using the LG Flash Tool. Great idea in theory, but sadly didn't work for me. Verizon Rooted Stock LG g3 - Android 5.0.1

Best and easy way to install custom recovery on your verizon g3, I recommend this to any one who has a rooted verizon (vs985) g3 and needs a custom recovery
