(D855) LG G3 AutoRec-Lollipop

Wow, i was looking for a way to install a custom recovery awhile ago, but i had already upgraded to lollipop and i couldn't be hassled to go through all the run around that would of been required. Today i decide to see if things had changed and while looking through the [INDEX] LG G3 - ROMs, Kernels, MODs, Recoveries, Themes [18 Apr 2015] post, i came upon your tool. Cant say it enough Thank You Very Much!! Now to go see what ROMS tickle my fancy :)

Nearly gave up until I used this. It worked on the first go! Was scared that it will format my device or brick it but it didn't! It worked like a charm!

Works exactly as advertised! First time i tried to use it nothing happened because I didn't let it finish. My mistake -- didn't read the instructions... Visible buttons (instead of lollipops :D) and a progress bar would be nice.

Solved my issue of being unable to boot into TWRP (on Android 5.0) Saved me heaps of time trying to track my KK firmware etc. Don't forget to donate to dev if this helped you :-)

EDIT: cheers, works flawlessly now. Android 5.0, stock ROM, does not work. Tapping the flash button does nothing, not even an error message. Help would be appreciated.

Why is it listened in Marshmallow G3 list?! Just misclicked and hardbricked, i know, STUPID, but why is it listened as compatible since it is absolut normal that the Lollipop version will brick a Marshmallow device?!? Just why?!? (can fix it but it was more than stupid from my side to click and your side to make it clickable!!!...)

It worked flawlessly. All twrp files i tried with adb shell or other apps gave "secure booting" errors. This app nailed it. Unbelievable.

It's superb.. It installed TWRP on my d855 , 5.0 in less than 30 seconds.

Against better judgement tried an app to root my stock lg g3 d855 international. This app categorically and undeniably does not work. Do not waste your time and effort.

Hard-bricked my phone when I used it on Marshmallow but once you use Lollipop... It works great

I couldn't find the time to do all the research needed to make sure I did everything correctly but after somebody linked to this app from reddit, I tried it and it was so simple. Thanks dev for making this easy

Apparently this is the one app I need to save me hours, however I can't figure out how to downgrade my supersu 2.76 to whatever version this requires as the threads in the links have been updated since they were posted here. Edit: open had to disable "mount namespace seperation" in supersu settings and reboot, works perfectly.

Ran it on my g3 d855 but the flash TWRP Button does not work/selectable

It is amazing!! Can't believe i had so much trouble installing TWRP for my G3 d855P 16gb model, this method was simple and effective! Thanks so much. I used this app for 20A lollipop version. Like the maker says, DO NOT FLASH THIS ON MARSHMALLOW!!!!

I doesn't flash of install the recovery boot but only backup and restore the stock boot... Strange.

Iam using lg g3 d855 lolipop v20n.......it does nothing after i select flash twrp

Awesome app...unbelievable... all XDA methods and TWRP website methods failed and at last I saw this on app store. Gave it a try and finally... BOOM!!!! I was able to get TWRP on my G3 D855 with 20i preinstalled :)

Simply wow! After searching, trying various options for nearly 3 hours found this in droidviews dot com. Installed and flashed TWRP in less than 2 minutes...

Upgraded to stock lollipop and decided to go back and ROM my phone. After hours of troubleshooting and getting stuck on booting to recovery i found this app which fixed everything after a couple of taps.

Had trouble using the internet to install TWRP recovery, followed all the steps and still nothing worked, until I found this app.. Amazing, if you want to easily install custom Roms I recommend installing this 100%

Doesn't provide any feedback as to what's going on, you press the button and everything happens in the background without any feedback showing progress

All methods listed on internet for installing recovery are for kitkat this is the only app for installing recovery on lollipop.THANK YOU developers keepup the good work

Loaded the latest version of TWRP on my rooted 5.0 Lollipop G3. No easier way than this. Hugely recommended!
