Reedy. Intelligent reader

Of all the speed reading apps I've used, Reedy really has pushed my reading speed up. Try a speed that is WAY uncomfortable, where you're just getting the gist of the content. Then read it again at a speed 25 or 50% faster than your normal speed. Seems easy! Latest update 9/2017 is EXCELLENT for reading web pages. Great update guys!

I love it! I went through and tested quite a few speed reading apps, and this is by far my favorite. Two suggestions: Is there a way to make the TTS pause less often? When I listen and read at 3x, it needs to stop for a bit to catch up. Is there a way to move the TTS reading speed past 3x or is this an android limitation?

I've taken fancy of this application. It works like wonders! The Speed and Accuracy are of no doubt-On point! I had tried apps that works as specifically exact as what I've wanted and frankly, this app was the only application that held my interest. Satisfyingly sufficient for my Researching needs as a High School Student! If you're looking for a BRILLIANT app , I recommend you Install this and see the difference of what you have installed before!

This app is so much better than Pocket! Text to speech feature is light years ahead of any other app I've try. The only thing this app is missing is account Syncing like Pocket, otherwise it's perfect and essential if you read a lot of article or recreational like fanfictions. Pls support the dev. Edit: the new updates is awesome, much improved lag build up when using text-to-speech along with TTS uneven voice volume level.

Enabled TTS and spent 15 minutes troubleshooting, but could not get the speech to read aloud. It appeared as if it should be happening, but alas, no sound. Got a diff app to work.

Reedy is best rsvp app for Android so far, but it needs to allow a user preference to change from scrolling text to true word flash experience! Only other thing I can think of right now make Reedy a true rsvp is change the UX experience of full-text view, pause and resume functions, current view is a bit dull and makes user guess a lot and causes to change cursor/marker position by mistake.

By far the best reading app for speed reading. The voice reader is amazing as well. Love how you can get full experience just from watching 1 ad. It even show how long you have till book is done speed reading, but I wish the voice reader would do the same. I have tried different apps and I even have to debate using this or my gen 3 kindle. The app is pretty much free so try it out for yourself

Really like the idea but some of the execution and UX is off. The notification won't go away after using it. Very frustrating. On Android 8.0 and the notification won't go away no matter what I do. Would give 4/5 stars otherwise.

FINALLY, there is a reliable text-to-speech app for reading websites. I have tried several others, and they are, frankly, all terrible. This app does so much more than that, but it's laudable for it's TTS service alone. The app is simple, reliable and free of distractions and cruft. WELL DONE TEAM!! Thank you!!!

This is a brilliant app thanks guys, I'm very impressed with how good the audio is, I've tried it out on a couple of books and also opened some links, I've had a go at improving my reeding. All in all I would say that this is far superior than anything else out there. Keep up the good work ????

I cannot express how much I love reading with this app. Love the speed reading and voice options. Voice just started crashing recently though. AND... cant access Google Play protected books.

I don't usually write reviews but Reedy is one of the best apps I have ever used. Highly recommended for book lovers. PS Please add support for pdf files in the next update. Love ya

You know those clickbaity Facebook links that tell some list of interesting anecdotes, but force you to hit Next a dozen times and eat a dozen advert popups? This app devoured them like a champ, reading it all intelligibly with no Next required.

This deserves to be seen as a classic. You can paste text and it reads it for you - lots of text - pages of it. You can link it to a Web site and it will read it for you. You can even have fun listening to the text being read in a foreign accent. The speed reading tool is phenomenal too!

There is a reason why this app has a 4.6 rating. Slow reader and wish to get faster, use this app. Shout out to the devs.Thank you so much!

It is the best out there for Android. I have been using it for years now, and read hundreds of books, I never though I could read so much or so quickly in my life.

The only app that reliably and without complaint reads EPUBs using RSVP. I love it. Alongside Lithium, Reedy stands head and shoulders above the competition in terms of reliability, quality, and customizability. Suggestion: to try to break up the monotony of reading boring books quickly (like chewing through dry bread fast- Better than slow, but still horrid) offer the option to play selected light background music that isn't complex enough to distract, but playful enough to entertain.

This is hands-down the best ebook reader (including some outrageous paid apps) - with speed reading capability (does spritz speed reader functions without going online, unlike the normal spritz) , - with provision for multitudes of possibilities for tweeking its functionalities ( Good TTS, font changes) to make it as personal as you want, to give you the best reading experience you can have on your device. - dark and light themes and other basic stuff - smooth interface which almost never lags. -Can't load multiple books at the same time, have to load one book at a time - can't read PDFs - can't highlight This app deserves to be a paid app but by making it free the developer has done us all a favor and I'm thankful for that. P. S- IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU GUYS COULD ADD IN HIGHLIGHTING CAPABILITY

Hello. I thought your app we be great to read text or article offline but it Is not at all as soon as I close my Internet connection be it WiFi or data I lose every text or article it does not save them at all it only copy them or take a kind of snapshot of the text. it does not save the entire text or entire article on my device so it is of no use to me so I am going to uninstaller sorry bit if you can fix that bug or when you fix it then I will consider your app again.

The TTS does not work that well with plain text (Gutenberg) files. It inserts strange pauses at the end of each line even if the line ends in the middle of a sentence. That makes it harder to listen to the text.

This is the app is was looking for. You can zip through material at a fast clip with enhanced comprehension. Due to the adjustable speed of words shown you are gently forced to concentrate on what´s passing through the screen - word by word. It is extremely easy to use. Recommend it without any reservations.

Best speed reading app being actively developed. I'd like to see custom typefaces and background colours if possible.

Suggestions: Needs a brightness slider, most competitors have it. An overlay to save links which appear after copying links to clipboard, like Article Reader. Options to customize the fonts and margins like Instapaper. A way to conveniently view images and tag articles like Pocket.

Just What I was looking for, For better annotations select Google Text To speech Engine, Reading a book while listening to it is best way to read

some improvements needed 1) export to pdf option missing 2) separate grouping into folders missing 3) rename option for saved webpage 4) no yellow theme available 5) no dedicated website to sync webpages between mobile and pc

Wonderful app! Easy to use and does exactly what I'm looking for! Is there any way to hide the scrollbar on the side at all? It would be great to have a feature that hides it completely, if possible!

Superb reading app (Easy to use, support text sharing, Offline). Can't expect more. But please try and add an "OCR" feature if possible. That'll make it an unbeatable app for sure.

PDF document reading is missing, I liked the user interface. Interesting but I need PDF reading a loud option

I can't hear the speech on my Galaxy tab E. Kinda defeats the purpose.

I would appreciate a lower slowest wpm (~30) and finer wpm adjustment in the slow region. The idea is to try it with kids. Thanks.

layout is nice, I like the text reflow when resizing, some txt files say unsupported format when trying to open.

Far and away the best speed reading app available. Handles everything beautifully, from plaintext, to epubs, to rich-content articles. Awesome app and highly recommended.
