About Perfect Noise
This software is for noise measuring and spectrum analysis software. It is installed cell phone and tablet PC understand ANDROID operating system. Through this software, we can use the MIC of cell phone to do measure sound level and analyze spectrum. So that we can know how noisy of the environment.
The first interface is in BIG VALUE display mode which clearly shows the current noise value.
Switch interface can click on interface tab strip, there are three display modes: SINGLE, GRAPH, LIST.
The gradient bar is charging correspondingly according to the noise value.
In the spectrum display area, beside the vertical coordinate the yellow part stands for the current noise spectrum diagram, and the upper and lower gray shadow parts stand for the spectrum of the maximum and minimum values, the top right corner shows the spectrum model and overlap rate. In the right, the 3 blue bar graph is A, C, Z weighting graph.
There’s a extra “keep2 ” in button area and it is used for keeping display spectrum curve. Each click, there will be shown the red, green, blue curve in spectrum display area, total 3 curves.
List display area shows the value of all frequency point.
Above the List display area, there shows how long it takes for calculating FFT one time. The number behind FIFO is the number of data is in buffer. Usually, this number will not continue to increase, if the number keeps increasing, it means the mobile processing speed too slow which can lead to display delay and data lost. In this way, we can reduce the sampling rate, line number, and overlap rate to refresh screen. Below the FIFO it shows the value of each frequency point, each page displays 10 rows.
Press the menu button of cell phone, it will show entrance of setting interface.
Signal input set: there’re 2 ways of inputting signal like cellphone Mic mode and USB Mic mode.
Sampling rate set: set the FFT sampling frequency. Range from 4000 Hz ~ 48 KHz.
FFT lines set: 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768, 65536 are optional. When it is specified sampling frequency, the larger of FFT lines number, the finer of analysis, but the corresponding analysis speed will be slow.
Overlap ratio: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%.
Spectrum mode: FFT, 1/1 OCT, 1/3 OCT, 1/6 OCT, 1/12 OCT。
Screen refresh time: (ms), the shorter of the time, the higher requirements for CPU.
Axis Parameter set: set the Min and Max of X, Y coordinates. When FFT lines is too big, reducing the interval of X coordinate can check precisely some specified frequency points.
Color set: elements of the color in coordinates.
Cell phone Mic.: if there’s no iSV1600 measurement mic inserting cell phone, the app will use cell phone Mic.
USB Mic: when use USB Mic manufactured by Hangzhou Aihua Company, the APP setting should choose USB Mic mode.
Calibration set: Auto calibration and Manual calibration.
The Auto calibration interface is used with iSV1600 measurement Mic or AWA14608 USB Mic. And also together with sound level calibrator.
Mic Sensiti.: the sensitivity level reading for last measurement using.(default is -26.0dB)
Calibrator SPL: becasue the measurement limit of each phone is different, some phones’ measurement limit can’t reach 94dB, set 84dB as SPL calibration, the user can switch according to requirements.
New sensiti: current calibration sensitivity.
Current SPL: current calibration sound pressure level
Calibration signal adjustment: step by +1dB or +0.1dB
Start: start auto calibration. Save: press “save” after every calibration.
Manual calibration interface:
Input the positive or negative calibration value (in dB) on App. Because the built-in MIC cannot be calibrated, manual calibration should use the comparison of phone and professional equipment. For calibration, please purchase our professional Mic or USB Mic and sound level calibrator.
