Avacom for Android
Worked great at first. Now I can't view messages because the app crashes each time I open that section.
Work fine on Android 6 my phone upgraded to Android 7 and the app keeps crashing
Bought the camera with low expectations, but so far it has done what I needed it to do. The app does stay on in the notification bar but if you don't need the camera to notify you when the motion sensors go off you can turn off all notifications in your app management of whatever android device you are using.
As far as viewing my camera it works fine, but force stop is the only way I found to stop this app , why is there no exit? Why does it need to run in the background? I start it when needed and force kill when finished.
Worthless if it drains my battery and I can't even see my camera with a dead phone.
This allowed me to view and control my cameras, and did everything I needed and wanted. However, when my phone upgraded to Marshmallow, the button on the main screen disappeared, and I can no longer turn it off without going into my apps and doing a force close, which is super annoying. Fix it.
Why does it always run no matter what I do? Also, the preset location buttons don't work, and I've had the camera over a year. Come on guys!
The comments about battery life are right. Add a close app option that really exits. I also wish there was an easy way to reorder the list of cameras without deleting them and entering the info again. But the camera admin functions are good.
The app is OK but won't close.you need to reboot your phone
No other way to close other than force stop on marshmallow, floating menu disappeared
So annoying that I have to force stop this application when I want to turn it off. I don't want it running in background sucking data. Like the camera but wish I could run it with a different app. Galaxy S7
Cheesy app, but does the job. TinyCam is much better for viewing, but this app can change admin settings and turn the IR lights on and off. What is unacceptable is that it stays open all the time in the notification area, so you have to force close to get rid of it.
There's no way to close this app from the app itself, it will only let you run it in the background which KILLS your battery. You have to force close it from your apps list in your phone settings.
