Walking in an unfamiliar area at night is one of many situations with some danger. Start the Auto911 app before setting out, and keep a finger in contact with the handset screen while walking. If a threatening situation occurs, lifting your finger from the screen will automatically command your phone to begin dialing emergency services (default is 1911, user can select from an international list of emergency numbers.).
