How is Australia Feeling? for Android
Love it
There are not enough options. The indusry I work it was not listed in the profile questions and there is no option for "Other" but I couldn't continue without selecting something. Also when asked How Are You Feeling, very often I am not feeling any of the emotions listed but again there is no option for "Other". Having to make selections that aren't accurate will skek the data
Either back-end is overloaded or application wasn't stress-tested, but two days into the survey and all this really valuable data has been missed or lost. I'm only persevering because I feel really strongly about this - it takes 4 or so submits to get past "network error" and the live feedback on a national or proximity level works sporadically at best. I hope devs fix these issues for next year - if they do try again. [Update] from update 8/Oct seems much more stable! Everything works first go now!
Got rid of it because it needs some sort of Neutral or nonplussed option for the days or moments when you're not feeling anything in particular. The options that are there force you to pick a feeling just for the sake of picking something which is going to lead to skewed data, for that reason I'd rather not waste my time participating. Shame really.
I couldn't be more pleased with the app, since the recent update the bugs have been fixed and it works perfectly. Checking in my mood is a breeze and it will be very intereding to see how Australia is feeling come Friday. Great initiative, very insightful and its actually pretty fun.
Using a Nexus 5. All good. Working well. Happiness!
Servers responding fast . Data is being loaded and submitted fast since the last update
Great, important concept, but the app is either faulty or not up to the strain of its sudden popularity. A "network error" message means submitting the one mood several times, and later they all seem to have loaded, drastically altering at least an individual's statistics. I cannot view the overall stats for Australia and the app currently claims I do not have my location switched on. I want this to work because these causes are important to me but we seem to have stumbled at the gate. Keep trying!
The purpose of this app is really important. Unfortunately, I've been having a lot of trouble actually getting it to work. It's very temperamental. :(
Just saw this being discussed on ABC and was more than ready to support in an endeavour for those to deal with the depression and anxiety; but unfortunately I cannot get past Step 1. Not a user friendly app :(
Cant get past step 1. Great idea in theory but app should have been properly tested before release. This week is perfect being Mental Health week. Such a shame.
The gender section is limited to just two options, male and female. As spur works on Australian mental health they would be aware of the impact that gender normative typing can have on those who identify as neither. This app would be better if the radial button selection for gender was replaced by a text field. Otherwise keep up the good work.
App drains the battery. Used up 14% of my battery in 4 hours because of constant use of location services.
Constantly showing network error. Waste of time if it doesn't do what it's supposed to.
I couldn't get past step 1.
The week is drawing to an end - feels good having gotten into the habit of logging my mood.
Have tried restarting app a few times but can't get past step 1. Doesn't matter if I sign into fb or click no thanks. Samsung galaxy note 3.
Won't accept my no thanks to a Facebook connection so a low rating because I can't actually use the app.
Cant get past step 1
Wont let me past step 1 because I don't have facebook. Un installing.
Unfortunately the app refused to find my location, even though I had location enabled on my phone
It won't let me past the 3rd set up question
Good idea but never works
Great idea but the app doesn't work.
Love it
This app is a good idea, and worthy of support. That said, it will only succeed if users can use it without friction. At the moment, it's giving me repeated network errors every time I try to submit an update. This is literally the core purpose of the app, and it is currently broken on both Wi-Fi and cellular data.
Can't get past step one on HTC one
Doesn't work, can't get past step 1. Is step 1 some kind of test?
