ABC KIDS iview

On every video I get this message: "There was an error playing this video. Have you checked your internet connection?" This app worked fine until a week or so ago. I have cleared data, cleared cache, rebooted, reinstalled. Still have issues. Can you please resolve this? Otherwise this is a great app

Works fine on one tablet but not on another, keep getting playback error. There was an error playing video. Have you checked your internet connection. My internet connection is fine. Can someone please reply how to fix error also tried rebooting, checking time zone, uninstalling, clearing cache. As mentioned works fine on another identical device.

Imagine a world where only the most expensive TV`s could receive the ABC, That is close to the reality of what this app has created. 5 android tablets and it crashes constantly every 5 seconds on 4 of the 5. it used to be rock solid. Its breaking my toddlers heart you need to do real platform testing outside of the emulators. Great you tested it on a nexus and galaxy devices, congrats your compatible with 18% of all android devices sold. Until it runs on a Kmart $99 tablet you are failing!!

Great concept, poor execution. I have tried on three different Android devices from two different manufacturers and on different wifi networks and will not play a single video due to 'playback errors'. I have no issues with any other streaming services. Works perfectly on Apple devices, why is it so hard to get it right for Android. Please look into these issues. I'm not the only one with problems.

I don't know what happened but as if today my s7 cannot play any videos through wifi. My home internet connection is perfect and its only this app doing this. Can you please fix asap as Im now chewing into my 4G data

Never had a problem until I recently updated. Should have read recent reviews before updating. I can see there has been a playback error issue for 2 months now. It has to be due to the most recent update. You've ruined a perfect app. Please, please fix it!

Only just able to use this after reading a helpful comment mentioning timezones. Time on old tablet was out by 10 minutes so videos would not play with a suggestion to check wifi connection. Bad error message! Does this app really try to use the device's time as some weak form of geoblocking? That seems very error prone!

Great app to keep the children entertained. Especially now that Android allows apps to be pinned. Would be 5 stars if you remove the volume control from within the app. Young children playing with the app constantly turn up the volume...

My kids and i love this app. Its become a real help at times. Yes it occasionally but very rarely shuts down saying no internet connection but i just start it back up again with no issues. Simple. Love love love abc

Hello abc team i have one issue about this app that needs fixing. My network or wi fi is working perfectly but this app keeps on saying no wifi when it is perfect. This has been going for 8 months now.

Love this app. My daughter loves this app. BUT.... all of a sudden, it keeps coming up with an error message 'there is an error playing this video. Have you checked your Internet connection?' Yet internet is connected and working well on other apps and pcs.

Had a lot of issues claiming no Internet connection. Resolved them by setting tablet to autodetect location timezone (it was defaulted to india wtf haha) Great app my child LOVES the shows anywhere anytime! Also read comments where people gave bad reviews as they want to filter what their kids watch - go into the parent link and manually setup what shows you do and don't want your children to watch. A lock screen function would be great for this app.

Keeps coming up playback error even when connected to wifi. My wifi connection is connected with no problems. Don't know what seems to be the problem today. Please fix asap, as it has become the perfect tantrum material for my 2 year old.

The kids love it but it stopped playing saying I had no internet connection. Finally figured out how to make it play. The location on the device has to be set to automatic. I'm guessing it has something to do with it being an Aussie app. needing to be used in Aus.

Changed my review cause the shows my kids watch have been taken off or no longer have episodes. Also Peppa Pig is now only in mandarin? I can't get it in English. Gg ABC 4 Kids. That is the number one requested show in my house. Also add casting support like every other app.

Keeps my bossy boots baby entertained for hours. She absolutely loves banana's in pyjamas but some games would be even better... If it can be added. Thanks for a great app, never have any issues with this app

I love this app for my special needs daughter as it keeps her calm and happy but now it wont work says i have no internet connection which is untrue everything else is working fine. How do i fix this please

Its a good app but the images of the shows dont load on my screen. Also I am annoyed that I don't get some of the shows on my app that people in other States do, like The Adventures of Bottletop Bill, my boys' favourite, which they can only watch on their grandmother's phone when visiting her in the A.C.T.

Application no longer works. Like most users I'm getting a playback error since the last major update. Very frustrating that this error has not been resolved for so many in the last 3 months

Love this app it's just a shame you have to have WiFi connection to use it as my child often tries to use it whike were in the car or running errands. Also not enough lah lahs big live band videos

Was great but now after watching 1 show have to shut down app n restart to watch another. Strange please fix my daughter loves app

It wont let me play any videos. Always come back with playback errors and wont play video. All up to date and excellent internet connection. Works on other devices

Great app, I love it and have no issues with it! But would it be possible to have a lock screen option so that the story can still play while the screen is locked and my daughter can't press any buttons while holding it. Thanks!

Why does it always have to say PLAYBACK ERROR CHECK CONNECTION EVEN WITH PERFECT INTERNET I WOULD GIVE THIS APP GIVE FIVE STAR IF IT IS FIXED. May you please fix this because I do not have any thing to do all day

Videos won't play on my sons pendo pad. It keeps telling me to check my connection but its working fine on my android mobile. It was working fine until today. Please fix asap.

Great App - Awesome that parents can place a timer on the app and filter shows. Would give 5 star rating if you could cast to Google Chromecast.

I love this app because my three year old brother loves abc for kids so he loves watching this app especially peppa pig and fireman sam. Thanks for creating it!

cannot use on our tablet, comes up with playback error and tells us to check our Internet, and there's nothing wrong with it. Extremely frustrating and disappointing!

It's very very good for kids lots to learn heaps of cool stuff and she absolutely loves

I have downloaded it and every show i click on it says there's a playback problem and to check my internet connection. I have done everything to do with the internet connection and still nothing. Can someone please help

My son loves this app onky thing is everyone he touches the screen it either stops, pauses or closes. Would be awesome for a kid safe mode so they can touch the screen without the show stopping

Be sure your device has the time set correctly otherwise you get video playback error. Seriously annoying. (ANDROID 4.4)

These Thomas and friends episodes don't work on my tablet Duck in the water, Bill or Ben?, Flatbeds of fear, Percy's lucky day, The smelly kipper, Thomas' shortcut & Away from the sea. Can you fix it please? If so thank you

My wifi was perfect but the shows didn't work. I tried powering off my phone like 5 times but it still didn't work.

I think its amazing. My little sister enjoys it so much. And its so much better than those youtube videos

Thank you ABC for the app. It keep my son busy with his favourite shows in journeys. Just a request please update shows frequently. My son has watched almost everything and there is no new shows to watch. Thank you

I have been using this app for months and it made my life so much easier because my 2 year old would sit down in appointments. No such luck now. I have got perfect internet connection but it tells ne I don't. Come on guys fix this PLEASE

I couldn't use in my galaxy Mobile. I installed used about a week after that it doesn't open. My kid always complain me but I couldn't open it... only can use apple store.. not good for play store.

Amazing app but it will be even better if you add chromecast feature in it to stream the videos to TV
