Great concept but would be much better if when you touch an alert it then gives you detailed info i.e school sports acrivity. Come early. Wear normal uniform plus trainers. This could be amazing but lacks 75% of the needed details.

It's very annoying that the Notifications don't launch the App any more. Is this just broken on Android and will they ever fix it?

A handy app to keep up to date with what happens at school. I am very happy using this app.

Never works when it's actually needed like school closures. Does a great job with annoying and irrelevant notifications though.

Easy to use. adds to calendar with ease events which are relevant to me. I have 2 schools at present so keeps me involved with both

The app is ok but, notification of events as they're coming up & updated info from school would be great

Great tool. Would be great if i could choose to get push notifications for my school's newsfeed as well as alerts though.

Love this app. It lets you sync up coming events to my phone.. so I dont miss anything my children have to do at school.. As im always on the go and dont really stop. Once I download my preferred schools I synced the whole school year to my calendar on my phone.

Would like to see push notifications working and automatically adding events to my calendar rather than having to do each one manually...

I quite liked the concept of this app, however it would be fantastic if the schools actually kept the information up to date in the events and newsletter sections.

Im in 2 minds to this, its handy but anyone (yes anyone and everyone) can look up a school and find out exactly what is going on where and when at that school. Im worried this could open a door to having our kids be unsafe. May help to have a your school login. Parade and all sorts of minor events are on there to allow predators easy access to info to be able to easily persuade trust in an unsuspecting child no matter how well they are educated on safety

It great little school and kids love they get better education. No matter what happens there it sort out quickly and no drama and got good principal

Gives access to documents from the school, but there's no push notifications for them so you miss them if you don't remember to check regularly.

The app fails to recognise a stable wifi connection. Seriously flawed. Is this a beta test of some kind?

Push notifications do not work we have had several urgent alert at my childrens school and unless i physically go into the app and check every few minutes we dont no whats going on several people i no have this issue

Has potential but still has far to go. All schools should be made to use it properly to make it effective. A password to access more content would be ideal, including newsletters that shouldn't be public on websites and facebook. Seems like State Ed have forgotten about privacy rights of children.

It is handy. However, I must agree with an earlier comment on privacy: everyone can find out what's going on in each and every school.

Don't like how even though you have clicked (on) the notifications you still have to open the app & check for yourself as it doesn't notify you!! Not happy with this app!

Handy app for checking Term Start & Finish Dates.

Love that I can check on here for important information like pupil free days months in advance. Don't like that you have to rely on school when not all schools know about it. Recommend for grand parents with kids spread across the state so you can be in the know.

Got no complaints. Makes my life much easier. My kids go to different schools having all the information I need in the one place, makes it so much easier then going through all my emails. Life saver with the booklist!!

I am not receiving push notifications on my galaxy s6. It has not worked since day 1.

Also love the integration with the calendar.

Push notifications do not work and it sucks the life out of my battery. Can't change settings so that it doesn't check for new messages so offen. Installed on samsung s3 and tab 3, and LG G3.

This is a very handy app indeed. I'd recommend it to any parent using a state school in QLD. My only problem with it, is that it relies upon the school directly uploading their information into it. For example, we've recieved a few one off emails that I didn't read until checking my emails a few days after they were sent. These emails were never loaded into the app, had they of been, I would of read them straight away. Perhaps it depends on the individual schools level of importance they place on using this tool as a form of communication?

Fantastic way to keep in touch with what is happening at school! Love having the ability to read the newsletters when it is convenient for me and I also never miss anything because I don't have to rely on my children to bring it home! Great app absolutely love it

The departmrnt calendar should be properly created instead of showing the desktop version of the webpage with pdf. Much improvement required for the real communication tool.

I like the idea of having all my kids schools info altogether

1 child graduated primary school & moved on to high school. I can't delete the old school on my list. Might have to uninstall, then reinstall and then re-select schools my other kids go to. Maybe I won't bother reinstalling. Blah.
