Totally useless app. Loads web browser anyway to login, use Google chrome to do anything this front door app is junk and a waste of space

Why do you make so difficult to log in by supplying an email address and a four digit pin. Totally unnecessary and time consuming.

Doesn't work. Continually asks to install a certificate. Then tells me there is no certificate to install. Then bumps me back to a login screen. No good

The stupid app keeps saying I have a modified system when everything is stock. Stock OS, stock recovery, stock bootloader.

Had to uninstall and reload every Time I wanted to use it waste of time

Can't renew rego with the app, keeps sending me to the web site to login again and perform the transaction. What's the point in having an app if I have to go to the website and login again anyway?

Doesn't work on rooted devices. Edit for developer response: I appreciate your intentions, but when all my other apps (incl. google apps, microsoft apps, banking apps, lastpass, and an app that can locate & unlock my car) work properly on a rooted device, it might be time to re-evaluate your criteria for blocking me from using the app “for my protection”. Not to mention that I can (and am forced to) login to the Services NSW website via chrome on the same rooted device…

Great way to lock a phone. My phone now has to do a hard reset, because of some stupid certificate which didn't install anyway. Thanks rta. May you all have 4 hours wasted as well. A stupid requirement, I am not impresses with.

I keep having issues with this application not linking all my services. I lodge a complaint, someone rings back and asks if it's fixed itself. When I advise its not resolved they say it will be escalated and no one calls back. After trying a few things by myself since there is no support follow up it appears that the system links 9 items only. It then gives bogus error messages like no email or phone number linked on primary services for fishing licence. This is a new fault after I unlinked my maritime services and reliable them. This time it took my boat vessel registration and dropped the fishing licence. The fishing licence was in the list previously. Please fix your system.

Hey thanks for the response. I had sent an email to service.nsw and your team had resolved the issue immediately. Im guessing it was a glitch cause the mail ID was updated several times but the verification code was send to my ID with a missing character.:) Anyways appreciate the response and keep up the good work..

Brand new Oneplus 5 and this dodgy app will not run because "the phone is modified". Time to leave your little samsung/apple bubble, service nsw!

All good working on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Linked my account with this app and can see my license points, rego and others. Well done!!

Absolutely Brilliant work

Tired of getting punished for using a non-OEM ROM. Custom ROMs are patched more frequently and vetted for authenticity by many contributors. Its no less safe than a stock ROM. So, what's the real reason you cut us out of a vital service provided to Australian citizens? EDIT - Don't bother replying, I found a way around it.

I keep getting rego renewal reminders on a car that my son wrote off and insurance took. No option for this in Notice of Disposal, only options if u sold it to a person or dealer. Didn't anyone think of this when creating the app or website? Also when selecting services in app it opens up the website, have to login again, but nothing I can find about cars registered and I have to look in recently used apps click on the rta app again and there are my cars! Why the hell did it open the website and steer me from the app?? Already emailed and received a response. Now I have to find NRMA letter that says they took the car.

Stuck in an endless loop of providing my password and the pin. As a software developer it seems obvious your testing is not up to scratch.

everytime I go to pay a fine it tells me unknown error occurred when though my credit card is successfully charged. This has happened every I have gone to pay a fine.

Tried to pay a fine using Mastercard. Got error message so used BPay option. Now find I've paid twice. Now it's up to me to sort it out.

App does not even load. Claims my operating system has been modified. It has not. Am running Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) on a ZTE phone with a Telstra SIM. Not impressed...

On first reading review's thought this app would be waste of time. But it works well and is very quick.

Unable to use the app, comes back with an error message telling me my Stock S7 Edge is rooted?

Thank you for returning the app back to a user friendly version and for adding boat licence to digital form also for bringing back the pin code access

Doesn't work as it incorrectly detects a stock S7 from Telstra as being rooted. Email to digital services does nothing. App needs to be fixed as is evident from the number of complaints about this issue.

Couldn't renew my licence via app and the newest version says my stock huawei P9 is modified or rooted.

Refuses to run saying (incorrectly) that the operating system has been modified or replaced. Currently running the stock ROM without any modifications. Even if I were running a modified ROM, that would not justify refusing to run at all. In some very limited circumstances, it might justify disabling particular features, but very serious justification would be needed for that. From a government agency this is real Big Brother behaviour. How dare you tell us by administrative fiat that we cannot choose for ourselves the operating system we run on our devices. It is extremely offensive to then go on and say it is for our protection. We decide what is best for our protection, not some trumped up public service bureaucrat determined to grossly exceed their authority.

Application crashes everytime. Used this earlier and was working fine but now this doesn't work at all.

Rubbish, once installed couldn't update my boat licence details so closed browser as prompted to then app wouldn't open no error message just went blank don't bother

everytime i tried to log on, i get the message "NSW service has stopped. send feedback close the app i am going to uninstall it and using chrome from now on to log in
