Energy Rating for Android
Good
Works well gives a list of appliances in order of power consumption but can't see my fridge in the list but can search for it Samsung srl458els
Looked at aircon and cant compare systems of a similar size.
Works well, but some of the refinements are too broad. For example, all the air conditioners are in categories like 5.1kW to 10kW.
Good
Doesn't have the list of old models in the data base.

Useful, could be so much more - potential to make a good app into a great app... Seems stable, at least, with no ads...

I have a reasonably fast CPU and heaps of RAM, yet this app takes around 20 to 25 seconds to open, I think it tries to download data from a 3rd party site (have yet to look into that), It is ok, but has less than you would think in appliances. No Computer Monitor data available! Always states "Never Updated" at the bottom of the app, yet there is nowhere I can update it??? Not a very useful application.
can't sort by energy rating
Couldnt find my new air con or dryer...Panasonic brand. Also hung my Galaxy S5. Terrible app.
Crashes the moment you try to open it.
Would be nice to have a 'break even' function that tells you how many years until the energy savings from a more expensive product recoup the initial expenditure compared to cheap model.
Great other than finding out what useage its based off. Okay this aircon will cost me 1534$ over 5 yrs. But how often is that running? Even washing machines kilowatt rating is based off 7washes a week. But how would you know going off this app?

Awesome
Assumptions on usage are not provided. Would be more helpful if you could adjust usage of equipment such as a dishwasher or washing machine. As a small family's usage is different to a large family's usage.
The ability to enter operating hours per year would be helpful for air conditioners... Also, the database is full of models which are discontinued. Could users have the ability to uncheck 'superseded models'? Currently a very basic and Disappointing effort coming from the Australian Government.
I can now work out how much my appliances are costing me per year

Often shows low quality and low efficiency before high quality and high efficiency. Fridges need to select on size too. Air con should show heat output too. Potentially a very useful app.
Grand design

I just get a list, not in order of energy use/cost of every appliance selected, plus others (eg front loading washing machine includes dryers!). Rubbish app.
