About Express Plus Centrelink

Express Plus Centrelink includes the Department of Human Services’ Express Plus Families, Job Seekers, Seniors and Students mobile apps into a single, easy to use app tailored to your particular circumstances.

The Express Plus Centrelink mobile app makes it even easier for you to do your Centrelink business online. You can view your Centrelink payment history, update personal information, view online letters and upload documents all on your mobile. No need to visit an office or wait on the phone!

Express Plus Centrelink includes all of the functions and tools you used on your previous app, along with a new design and additional features. You can:

· view and update your personal details, including study details

· view and update your family income estimate

· apply for an advance payment

· provide proof of birth

· track your online claims for Newstart Allowance and Youth Allowance as they are processed

· view and save all your Centrelink appointments in your personal calendar and set reminders

· report your employment income

· report your Mutual Obligation Requirements

· if you are income managed or use a BasicsCard, you can manage your own money, see your available balances and view details about recent transactions on your BasicsCard.

The Push Notification service is another way for us to communicate with you. We can now send messages to your mobile about important things, such as reminders to update your details or report.

To use the app, you need to be registered for a Centrelink online account through myGov. You can use your online customer number and online account password to set up your four-digit PIN for the first time.

Logging into the app each time is simple—just enter your four-digit PIN. If you have already set up a PIN on your previous app, you can simply log in using the same PIN.

If you need help using the app, you can find the Express Plus Centrelink troubleshooting guide at humanservices.gov.au/expressplus

Pathetic

C70%

I can't seem to find a record of updates to my details, and I can't save or take a screenshot of the update receipt within the app to confirm these changes were made. I understand the security reasons for not allowing screenshots but it would be nice to have the ability to 'save receipt' for safekeeping or an in-app record of changes. something similar to the ones found in bank applications to share receipts would be great.

You are being ROBBED. Centerlink have replaced human staff with automated software that is responsible for the income & debt area. At least 4000 letters a week are being generated incorrectly asking you to pay money that is not owed. Centerlink refuse to acknowledge staffs concerns about this issue. READ ARTICLE - AGE NEWSPAPER JAN 10TH. The app is ok by the way lol but check your account folks!

C70%
by C####:

The centerlink app needs alot work.. my partner and I are joined and I have report for both us but only recognize one of the accounts and says I have to contact centerlink for my partner. I try up load photos of infomation and it keeps turing the information on the side even tho I rotate it..

I suggest you try to copy what the banks do! NAB's App is very good!. This App has no multi device pin support or the ability to keep the same pin but migrate to new phone or if you wipe your device or after reinstall new set-up of App after a crash error ( nab does). This App has a convoluted and unintuitive design, buggy, fails to load, forgets my password regularly, crashes often, can't get information "please try again later" very poor.

C70%
by C####:

It's a great idea, but at least 96% of the time I open this app and I'm thinking "oh come on! Really!?" because someone really needs to fix this thing!! It barely works! Too laggy and works about as little as the online services!! I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed, it's a poor effort.

C70%
by C####:

Should sack the graphical designer of this app and the person who thought this app is 'ok'. Where are the touch gestures? Do i really need to see other people on my home screen or insert a random picture? Sure people would like that but use the space wisely. Why are so many things hidden? And why are there 2 menus? Such a pain to navigate through this app.

E70%
by E####:

Hopefully they intend to use some of their income from the new automated audit system that seems to err on the side of debt to fund an actually useful app. #1. Still requires a Centrelink Account password, despite the insistence that everyone use a MyGov account to access the service online. #2. No options within the app to reset a Centrelink Account password. #3. Seems to be a website wrapper and not a natively developed Android app which no doubt attributes to the sub par experience.

O70%
by O####:

I don't know what the fuss is about, I just used this app for the first time to report income and it was a breeze. Might be different for other functions, but it for my purposes it was a no brainer.

Y70%
by Y####:

I often have to sign in twice as the first instance will cause the app to log itself out and close the app for some strange reason. Hidden swipe menus with no labelling for what anything does makes this a confusing app to navigate. Would be nice if this app could work as a 2FA app for MyGov and others. Needs push notifications for when you receive letters, when any changes are made, or when further info is required.

C70%
by C####:

Why is the document upload option limited to only pictures? I have downloaded files on my phone too, you know. Various crashes and slow loading times are also annoying

C70%
by C####:

Reinstalled it and unable to sign in again. My password is 10 characters long but it only accept 8 characters after that I'm unable to type any further. So practically I can't sign in to this app ever if the error is not fixed. Need some assistance here

V70%

Oh God after paying top tier income tax I can't believe our government give us a s**t app and website like centerlink. You simply can't upload a document on their website. Same on their app. You need to wait for an hour on a phone to speak to them and they are always in a hurry to shut you off...

C70%
by C####:

I'm not happy! I've installed it twice but can't use it, it tells me it's not installed, and have to go to play store every time I want to use it! NOT HAPPY JAN

C70%
by C####:

Downloaded it but cannot sign in as it tells me i need to contact centrelink to upgrade my account. Whats the point of app if i have to contact centrelink anyway? Fail.

K70%
by K####:

Useless. Unsurprisingly. Can't do anything I need to, need to download and email a copy of a statement but this stupid app can't seem to comprehend. This app is crap, but I'll give you 5 stars for the unwavering ability to piss everyone off.

U70%
by U####:

Terrible reinstalled after getting a new phone and password doesnt fit so cant log in! However googled website and able to put in my password as it allows more characters! Whats the point of the app if i can only get in through google

C70%
by C####:

if you put in your shitf on the wrong day you can not remove it. you can not ip load a PDF you have to do a low quality screen shot that doesnt show it all or print it then take a photo. incredibly a massive step backwards this app is.

C70%
by C####:

I deleted two apps for this app and I am instantly regretting it as the app confirms my details are correct but it won't let me log in!!! This is absolutely a waste of time

I70%
by I####:

Terrible as you would expect from Centrelink but if and when it works it can be very useful. This is especially true for uploading documents, reporting income, reading their mail. Last update crashes regularly so best to avoid.

What do your "engineers" do? Because they don't seem to be working quickly to resolve any issues... sick of this error message!
