Some of the more common of these are things such as pesticides, petrol, paint, mineral turpentine, methylated spirit, gas cylinders, oven and drain cleaners, bleach, glues and aerosols.
You are probably happy to store these items at home, or carry them in the car on the way home from the shop, because you know where they are, and manage any risk associated with carrying or storing them. You store them out of harm’s way, so that no one can swallow or mishandle them, and you keep them upright so they don’t tip and leak.
However, put these items in an aircraft, flying high above the earth, and subject to severe atmospheric pressure (up to 75kPa), extremes of temperature and vibration (1g to 8g of acceleration), and they can behave unpredictably.

Awesome app to understand, what is permitted on-board

This app froze on the front screen every time I opened it (including after uninstalling & reinstalling, & waiting several minutes in case it was simply loading, & trying it on 6 different occasions). Nothing worked in it at all. I use nearly 50 other apps & have problems with none of them. DG is important for travellers. This was disappointing :(.

Had two goes at getting this app to work, keeps telling me it can't access the DG database, I need to check my internet connection, yet I'm on a 4g connection. Typical CASA rubbish.

Deodorant, says yes, up to 500g, international MAY be different. That's it. When was this app designed, 1990? Complete lack of information, oh and if you send them a question, they can use your details for prosecution, so careful what you ask them. Geez guys, get a grip
